The Endeavour Restaurant with rooms

The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with an excellent bed that ensured a great night's sleep. It was well equipped with thoughtful amenities such as a kettle, tea, biscuits, and even an iron. While there were a few spiders and cobwebs, this seems to be quite common in rural areas of the UK and did not affect our overall experience. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a great selection and high-quality food. Cameron was exceptionally kind and helpful, providing useful recommendations and local tips throughout our stay. We also really appreciated the guest lounge area, where complimentary snacks, water, and milk were available, while additional drinks could be purchased. It was a very welcoming and practical feature.

Given how well maintained and modern the room is, the bathroom could benefit from a little more attention. There was some mould caused by humidity, particularly around the shower area and on the shower curtain. Guests should also be aware that, as clearly stated by the hosts, the property is located in the centre of Staithes and parking is only available uphill from the village. This means you need to walk down to the accommodation and back up again when leaving, which may not be suitable for people with mobility issues. Finally, the seagulls can be quite noisy, so I would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

The room was warm but as we had constant hot weather this no surprise !! Certainly not a complaint as owner is doing a super job

An exceptional stay in the heart of Staithes. The property is tastefully decorated throughout, and our room was beautifully spacious, clean, with an incredibly comfortable bed. The cozy common area provides a perfect space to relax. Above all, the hosts are remarkably friendly and helpful, and the delicious cooked breakfast was the perfect start to our day. We look forward to our next visit.
