Ranger Chalet is a beautiful, wooden buiding, settled in the idyllic mountain village of Moeciu de Sus.
It´s a perfect location for travelers, families and groups!
The house is managed by a family of local guides that offer great advice, help in planning and maps and tips of the surroundings.
35 km away from Brasov, settled in a marvellous mountain area, the Ranger Chalet can serve as the perfect base for making day trips to Dracula´s Castle, Brasov, Sighisoara, Sinaia, Predeal or Bucharest while enjoying the quiteness of a mountain village. If you have in mind a family holiday or a relaxing few days in nature, the village offers many possibilities of hiking, bike riding, guided trekking and hiking tours.
Ranger Chalet offers comfort, authenticity and tradition, harmoniously interlaced in a magical experience for the guests. The chalet is scenically located in the midst of nature and is just 12 km away from Bran, the well-known home of Count Dracula!
The guesthouse is a beautiful, wooden building, set by the river that crosses the village, and offers space for 12 guests in 6 double rooms with ensuite bathrooms. The wooden work in the house has been handcrafted by the owners, who have a long tradition in carpentry.
The inside is organized as follows: on the ground floor there’s the entrance, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room. On the 1st floor there’s the living room and 2 large rooms. On the 2nd floor there are 4 double rooms. All 6 bedrooms have ensuite bathroom with shower, toiletries and hair dryer. The beds are matrimonial, with double cover.
Wifi access is free of charge for the guests.
In the garden at the side of the house, there is a barbeque area and a terrace which lies on the riverside. At the back of the house, on a higher position, there’s a relaxation area with chaise longues and swings with beautiful views over the valley.

The property is big, eight bedrooms divided into individual apartments. There is a big dining room and nice patio space. The kitchen is a little rough and not conveniently located on the lower level. The property is a bit more rustic than we expected, plumbing leaked and small details were unfinished. The playground area is nice but precariously perched on the side of a cliff, so we weren’t able to just let the kiddos play while we sat on the patio. The village itself is 20 min south of Bran with only very basic grocery options nearby. The views really are incredible and the entrance to the nature reserve/park is just up the road. The owners live in another house on the same property and were very friendly and easy to work with. When deciding between 3 and 4 stars, it really was the service that tipped it 4 stars.

La maison spacieuse propre et plutôt confortable avec quelques pension/restaurants a proximité

Cabana Bradul is in the center of Moeciu de Sus. The rooms are excellent, clean and fun. The common area has a sweeping view of the village center. Great kitchen and a store 100 meters away. My hosts Ioana and Nacia were the best: we share beer and good conversation at night and hiked the hills during the day. Easy to explore the village alone also. All people I met were super friendly. I can't say enough. This should be the model for all pensiunes.
