About this house rental
Villa 3 at La Foret d'Armotte; a luxury residence in South-West France perfectly located on the edge of a forest, a few minutes to the beach and golf courses and 500m from the village centre of Saint-Augustin-Sur-Mer. The development comprises 4 bed-4 bath detached villas each with their own private parking places, pool, jacuzzi, terrace and garden.
The residence itself comprises a tennis court, petanque area, a tennis table.
Cleaning and linen/towels are provided. Jacuzzi is an option at 75€/stay.
A security deposit of €500 is required upon arrival and must be paid by bank transfer.
For French guests, a €500 security deposit check is required and will be sent with a photo of the damaged check within 8 days if everything is in order.
Additional equipment such as a high chair and cot are available on request.
The fabulous towns of La Rochelle and Bordeaux and the islands of Ile de Re and Ile d'Oleron are a short drive away and the seaside resorts of Royan and St Palais are 8km and 4km away respectively. Access is easy with a TGV station at La Rochelle, a train station at Royan, regular bus routes to St Augustin while La Rochelle airport is under an hour away and Bordeaux just an hour and a half away. This is a fantastic location to spend your holidays with activities for all the family including surfing, sailing and swimming in the sea and lake and hiking, biking and horse-riding in the forests and beach, fishing, climbing and much more. There is also a water-park and zoo very close by and plenty of vineyards, chateaux, museums and places of historical and cultural interest. There are local markets too selling fresh local produce and lots of festivals and events throughout the year to offer a variety of entertainment. The great selection of local restaurants, cafes, bars and boutique shops also ensure that you are never bored here.

The house is lovely and well equipped. Location is quiet and right on a track through the woods so to really explore bikes are advisable. This property is right next to a paddock so we enjoyed a variety of wildlife. The pool and hottub were a lovely bonus albeit both were not immediately available on arrival but Pascal sorted within 48 hours and maintained both and the garden throughout our stay. It’s worth noting the property is on a site which is still being developed so during the week expect some building activity albeit it did not detract from our stay
