About this house rental
Tenuta del Carrubo is an elegantly restored rural house to welcome travelers who want to discover an authentic and genuine Sicily without giving up the sea which is only 15 minutes away. The panorama that can be admired from the house is typical of the Sicilian countryside, with its colors, its scents and its unmistakable dazzling light, and in the distance you can see the blue sea of the south coast of Sicily, where there are mainly beaches sand suitable for families with children.
Tenuta del Carrubo is part of a small family-run farm, where mainly native grapes are grown for the production of wine and olives from which precious Sicilian oil is obtained, as well as genuine and tasty seasonal vegetables. At the end of August our guests may be lucky enough to attend the harvest for the production of our wine and in November they will be able to attend the olive harvest with typical traditional methods.
The house has been renovated with local traditional materials: the "Sicilian tiles" of the tiles blend harmoniously with the warm colors of the earth and the countryside and make a striking contrast with the white of the villa. Outside our guests can experience moments of absolute relaxation under the shade of the centuries-old carob tree at the entrance of the property, they can dine outdoors, use the barbecue, have breakfast on the porch admiring the view. The interior of the villa is composed of an elegant living room with sofas and fireplace, romantic and evocative on winter evenings, and furnished with objects of the Sicilian peasant tradition. Adjacent to the living room there is the spacious kitchen with a wood oven and from this room you enter the dining room with table and chairs. In the house there are two large double bedrooms with air conditioning and a bathroom with shower.
Outside there is a large area for parking. Wi-Fi included.

We can only say that Antonella and her husband provided us with an amazingly wonderful and perfect stay in their lovely home! From the initial booking communication to the final communication when we had to leave - the experience was fantastic. Meeting us upon are arrival, the kindly brought home grown vegetables and herbs, wine, olive oil, and pastries, as well as honest and helpful suggestions for things to do and places to visit. There were freshly picked flowers and herbs in every room. The ambience was incredible - inside the cottage and outside. The photos don’t do the cottage justice - as the warmth and coziness far exceed the pictures. The views were beautiful, the sunsets beyond amazing. The setting itself was very private, but the location was central to all our day trips. The owners are both professional and caring and extremely supportive whenever we asked for advice. I look forward to returning again - and again and again.....

Excellent accueil des parents de la propriétaire.
A notre arrivée : vin de la propriété au frais, tomates du jardin et raisin blanc + petits gâteaux.
Tout était parfait.
La maison est agréable, fonctionnelle et décorée avec soin.
Seuls petits points négatifs : une route toute proche et une pizzeria à 100 mètres plus loin avec de la musique forte certains soirs.
Mais je recommande malgré tout.

Upon arrival at this location we been received by the very friendly and helpful land lord couple. The couple showed us this historical building which they renovated and furnished with passion for detail and style. Anyone looking for an accommodation on an above average level will be very pleased with this beautiful house. We felt just at home and will definitely return for another stay.
