About this villa rental
Villa Papillon, located on a hill in a dominant position, enjoys an exceptional panoramic view of the bay of Castellammare del Golfo, in the west of Sicily.
The villa develops on three levels; on the ground floor there is a living area with equipped kitchen, a panoramic terrace furnished for suggestive outdoor breakfasts, 2 double bedrooms and 1 bathroom with shower.
From the lounge, an internal staircase leads to the attic with 1 splendid double bedroom and 1 bathroom with shower.
The exterior is characterized by the splendid sea view that dominates the entire scenario.
Here we find the BBQ area equipped for outdoor dining, a solarium area with panoramic views and private parking. Totally independent floor area minus 1 room reserved for owners for customer assistance when needed.
The nearby Zingaro Nature Reserve is a park of rare beauty, its many coves with crystal clear waters and the rich fauna and flora make this place a pearl of the Mediterranean. The temple and the Greek theater of Segesta which stand on the nearby hills. Many other destinations easily accessible such as Erice, Trapani and the Saline.
The villa is located 200 meters above sea level
It is preferable to have a car or motorbike at least 125cc
The first beach named guidaloca is located about 2/3 km from the villa.

The home was beautiful with an amazing view of the bay, especially in morning! Maurizio was always available and provided many recommendations for day trips and restaurants. There is a great market 5 minutes from the house with cheese, pasta, meat and fresh bread. In all, the location was perfect and I would definitely give it my recommendation.Thank you Maurizio!

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly received by Maurizio. We were given recommendations for attractions and restaurants in the area. Location is wonderful with a breathtaking view. The road up is not for the faint of heart but it was nothing for us to drive up. The home was nicer than pictured in the listing and the outdoor shower was a pleasant surprise!

cette maison, au calme, se situe en haut d'une colline avec une très belle vue mer, proche de Scopello et la réserve naturelle de Zingaro. La plage la plus proche est à 15 mn en voiture (bondée en juillet, avec parking payant). la maison et conforme à l'annonce bien que moyennement entretenue et propre. (frigo et douche sale, extérieurs non entretenus, cendriers plein de mégot, balai et serpillière qui trainent...) Elle est cependant bien équipée. le propriétaire nous a bien accueilli et montré quelques petites plages aux environs. (pour info, il ne parle ni anglais, ni français).
il a cependant passé le week end, avec une autre personne, dans un chambre indépendante à l'arrière de la maison... on a moyennement apprécié même s'ils se sont montré discret....
Après notre départ, une ouverture de fenêtre était apparement cassée, nous ne l'avons pas vu, cela nous a été imputé 50 euros...
la région de Scopello est très belle, mais il faut savoir qu'il y a énormément de monde, que les plages sont minuscules et bondées, tous les parkings sont payants et qu'il y a des déchets partout.
