An amazing two br house nestled on top of the cliffs in one of the cutest villages on the island. Many restaurants within walking distance and a lot of walks originating from Lagada. Recommend going to the Monastery of Agios Ioannis Theologos (roughly an hour's walk from the village).

This property is very spacious and is ideal for a family up to 5 max. It is situated in a pleasant Langada village yet away from dense neighbourhood so it also offers enough privacy and isolation if one fancies that. The supermarket is nearby and the carpark is also situated within the village at a short distance. Transporting large suitcases from car park to the house and back can be a little challenging if you’re on a long stay (I did the mistake of bringing a 25kg bag as I was staying for 2 weeks! Beware as 300m is a non tarred climbing pathway) but that is the price you pay for privacy and some of the spectacular views overlooking a valley that leads towards the Aigiali bay and Tholaria village directly opposite on the other side. The property is also situated nearby some of the walks in North of Amorgos. We stayed for just under two weeks and were blessed with a very peaceful time and relaxed atmosphere. In the evenings, it is possible to see the sun setting into the mountains from the balcony. The nights can be windy but a new scene appears in the night with plenty of opportunity to do some star gazing too. It can get windy and somewhat cooler in the evenings even in summer so do bring a little sweater. Also bring comfortable walking shoes so you can enjoy the all the walks around Amorgos. Please note that a car is necessary if you want to go the house or Amorgos in general. Buses are available but not that regularly. There is no wifi or TV but the owner has kept a nice collection of books and CDs (mainly French but also English). The house is a very good proposal for a quiet and relaxing family stay in Amorgos. Note that the 5th person will have to sleep in the living room and there is only 1 bathroom (shower and toilet together).

"The blue and white greek small villa is full of beauties, has a wonderful garden full of flowers, many small terraces for all times of the day and it is in an excellent location with a wonderful view on one of the most beautiful bays of the island. It is outside the village but very close and It is very easy to shop homemade bread and everything you need for daily life. If you want to be fully In your own, love good music - this is the place to go. At the same time close to many beautiful hiking tracks and just above some very beautiful beaches. Slow-food like greek food you get In many places.. The owner and Vassisilis take very attentively care of the well-being of the guests. You feel at home from the first minute."

Good location with beautiful views. The house is clean and well presented, but not particularly comfortable, with a lot of different levels and too many steps. It's like you're staying in someone else's home and they don't really want you there. Lots of little rules and threats of fines. In the main bedroom a wall of family photos stares at you from the foot of the bed, which is a bit weird. And the plastic incontinence sheet on the mattress, apart from being extremely uncomfortable, is quite hostile to guests. The photos of the interior are accurate, but those of the garden are a bit misleading, since it is rather neglected and quite a few of the plants are dead - see photo. The worst aspect of our stay was the complete lack of communication from the local contact on the day of our arrival and the days leading up to it. We went to bed the night before our arrival thinking the whole thing was a scam and wondering where else we could stay. Without replying to any of our messages, the lady did eventually contact us some time after the time we had indicated and at a different place from where we had arranged, which we were made to feel was all our fault.Despite the above, we had a great stay in Amorgos, because it is such a beautiful island.
