About this house rental

The Santa Fe Lake House is located at Rio Vista Resort and RV Park in the Texas Hill Country on beautiful constant Lake LBJ! It has its own boat house on open waterfront! This house has a large Master Suite. The kitchen is perfect for cooking and entertaining and overlooks a large table in the dining room right next to the fireplace. The bonus room has 2 bunk beds which will sleep 4 people. These are perfect for kids. There are also 2 back bedrooms. One of the rooms has a bunk bed that can sleep 5. The other room has a queen size bed.

Guests have a private porch to enjoy and watch the sunset while grilling out some food! There is also a private boat house for your use. Well behaved pets are welcome at this house!

Located at Rio Vista Resort & RV Park, it includes resort amenities such as swimming pool (open March until the end of October), hot tub and mini golf. It also has access to a pool table and ping pong table. There is someone available 24 hours a day to answer any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you soon!

It was nice … ants were an issue but got through it. Pool area is wonderful! Will be staying again soon.

Air conditioning at the Santa Fe was not adequate. Some rooms were very uncomfortable to stay in. Entry doors to house did not stay shut. Doors seals were bad losing much air-conditioned air. Stovetop burners were not functioning well in the kitchen. Boat dock rotten. Top deck on top of boat dock rotten exposing holes in top deck. SAFETY HAZARD of falling through! Boat lift in slip did not work. Boat lift needs to be replaced. Boat lift stopped working. Location of slip was not easy to get in. Needs to be relocated. Boat ramp very dangerous, ramp has a hole in it or split in ramp.

This property is incorrectly represented by the pictures and calling this a resort is a huge stretch from the truth. It was filthy, and dirty. The place claims to be stocked with everything you need and there was hardly anything to cook with, utensils etc... the boat dock is literally about to fall down around itself. The property itself is a trailer park, NOT a resort.all of these things are ok... IF you give people an accurate picture of what there coming in to. You can’t charge resort style prices, and get a trailer park and a run down modular home you call a lake house in a resort! Biggest bait and switch I’ve ever seen. My biggest complaint is how much you charged for how little you get. We found numerous other places on the lake that same weekend far nicer and same price or even cheaper. Will never stay here again, way over priced and honestly pretty disappointed. Grounds are littered with trash and old trailers, tires and trash. Even old toilets. Looked like a third world City in some places. WiFi didn’t work upon arrival, called the front desk, we were told know one was on site. No one called back all weekend. Now I know it’s a lake house, but we care there because I had to work some of the weekend and needed internet. So ya. Not real impressed No one called back. Won’t stay again

House was pretty clean, a few cob webs and some stains on bedding but overall clean. Kitchen was pretty stocked not many skillets, lots of pans, tons of dishes. House was a great size. One of the kitchen table chairs was broken, so set aside. Beds were very comfortable. A/C worked great. Back porch needs more lighting and boat dock does need some work and definitely needs lighting. Shade trees were beautiful.
