About this house rental
Newhouse Mansion sits on three beautiful acres in Dallas Texas, hosting a basketball goal, trampolines, pool with hot tub, and a game room with pool table. Throw horse shoes on the the side of the yard or play foosball in the game room it’s plenty of space for families to enjoy and a portable pack n play provided. This Location is also great for Business Retreats, Strategy Planning Meetings. The inside of the resort is very open, airy and spacious with great natural light. A Library/Reading space with books,
a upper outdoor deck, the night sky perfect for stargazing.. Newhouse Mansion is equipped with WIFI for entertainment and business convenience. 7 Bedrooms that sleeps (18 )must book for 13 or more to get all 7 rooms. 12 guest or less gets room 1-6. There are 2 additional sofa sleeper as well, lot's of warm extra blankets for a cozy sleep. 5 Full Bathrooms. To access the Guest Quarters the 7th bedroom, you must have 13 or more people for price to be inclusive. Otherwise, there is an extra fee for the 7th bedroom which hosts 2 Queen beds, a refrigerator and bathroom with shower.. only 6 visitors allowed. We Do Not Allow Parties, DJ's or Events. Per DeSoto city ordinances. We offer 3 hours a day of complimentary hot tub heating , a Barbecue grill and a wonderful pool with extra towels provided, where you, your friends, Business Associates and family will make memories to last a Lifetime at Newhouse Mansion. About our Space: Newhouse Mansion is located on 3 Acres of Land, Bring your Family, RV, Boat and Horses! Conveniently located only a few exits away from Uptown Center Mall, Lots of restaurants, Shopping and grocery on Pleasant Run and 1382 in Cedar Hill, Texas. Seventeen minutes from Uptown/Downtown Dallas, Tx and The Art District without traffic, Less than 25 minutes from Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium, Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars, American Airline Center, Texas Ranger Globe Life Field, SMU Moody Coliseum, Gerald J Ford Stadium, The Cotton Bowl, Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor in Arlington, Texas also conveniently located less than 30 minutes away from all Airports, Sports Arenas and fifteen minutes to Joe Pool Lake with entrances to the Cedar Hill Marina or Grand Prairie Marina. We had a large family gathering in Dallas over the Thanksgiving holiday and took advantage of staying at the Newhouse Mansion, and we have no regrets! This was place was awesome and perfect for our group. We loved the seclusion and the incredible space of the house. I’ve never stayed in a master suite as large and comfortable as here. Plenty of rooms and tons of space allowed our “pack” to spread out and be completely comfortable (we had 3 couples and 3 more “kids”). We loved the game room area and got a lot of use out of that. The local area had plenty of restaurant and grocery options, which came in handy, and while traffic is always challenging in Dallas, access anywhere was pretty doable.Kessa was a very welcoming host - easy to contact and wanting to make sure all was well with our stay. We would absolutely stay at the Newhouse Mansion again, and honestly, I’d love to do it warm weather because the pool out back is one of the best VRBO pools I’ve seen at a residence. Thank you, Kessa and family, for letting us enjoy your home. We’ll be back!

*I was not contacted by property management 24 hours prior. I reached out and was told to still show up at 3:00 the next day. I received a phone call the morning of my reservation. Upon arrival, the house was not fully ready. *Be sure to read the FULL listing bedroom 7 is NOT included unless you have 13 people staying. I just read over it when I booked.

Our group of 10 had a great time, the house was perfect for our fantasy football draft weekend. There were enough beds for everyone, and even better to have that many beds with no bunkbeds. Enough space for everyone not to feel cramped. The game room and pool were clutch.

This family reunion was absolutely fabulous. The property manager (Kessa) was fabulous. Her communication skills were such that she made us feel very comfortable from the start. The house was very clean and plentiful from the kitchen , dishes , linens , towels , etc .,. Wonderful swimming pool with diving board , slide and plenty life vest floaties etc. huge game room with pool/billard table , ping pong table , corn hole game and numerous other games to enjoy. I live in the immediate area but needed a larger space with pool for this event. I couldn’t ask for anything better. I highly recommend Newhouse Mansion and will probably stay here again.
