About this house rental
Relaxing 3 bedroom 2 bath home tucked among the palm trees on majestic Caney Creek in Sargent, Texas. Welcome to Palm Haven! Enjoy fishing on the expansive lighted dock equipped with a new first class fish cleaning station or bring your binoculars and observe some of the greatest bird watching on the gulf coast! The sprawling backyard is ideal for family games and barbeques.
The game room is perfect for keeping the kids entertained with foosball, board games or a movie when inside. When night falls the adults can take over the game room’s poker table complete with cards and poker chips while others lounge on the comfy sectional and enjoy a movie in the spacious living room as the delectable smell of fresh popped popcorn fills the house from the old fashioned popcorn machine!
Everyone congregates in the kitchen and this one is big enough for the whole family to pitch in and cook up the day’s catch! The kitchen offers abundant counter space, new appliances and everything the cook in the family needs to whip up a gourmet meal! The expansive sit down bar is open to the dining and living room for that open concept feel.
In the Master Bedroom wake each morning to views of the creek from the King sized bed thoughtfully appointed with Tommy Bahama bedding. While listening to the boats go by, curl up with a book on the cozy futon which also serves as additional sleeping in the master bedroom. The master has its own private bathroom and shower.
A colorful second bedroom has 3 twin beds perfect for the kids. The serene third bedroom is decorated in soft blue tones and has another comfy king sized bed ideal for a second couple or a quiet escape for an afternoon nap. A delightfully decorated second full bath at the end of the hall is shared by the other two bedrooms.
You will find ample parking in front and to the side of the home. The driveway was thoughtfully designed with boats and trailers in mind for easy maneuvering. There is also parking across the street, if needed.
Palm Haven is located in the deed restricted community of Caney Creek Haven. There is a private boat ramp just a short two minute drive up the road available to all guests.
A short 15 minute boat ride from your private dock will take you to one of the several local bait camps. Traveling on another few minutes will take you to local restaurants, an offshore adventure in the Gulf of Mexico or world famous bay fishing in East Matagorda Bay.
Home has DirectTV and High Speed Internet. Wheelchair ramp available upon request.

We enjoyed our stay at this home and would book again. The host answered emails promptly, provided good directions to find the home, easy entry access to the home. The home was very clean, beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with many kitchen items if you’re planning to cook. Puzzles and games for the kids. It was pet friendly with a big fenced in backyard. Dock was great for fishing, with lights for night fishing. Definitely booking again.

My brother and I enjoyed our stay. The house was just as described. We didn’t fish but had a nice relaxing stay. Would do it again.

We had a fabulous weekend at Palm Haven. We needed a quiet weekend getaway and this fit the bill perfectly! The owners are great and the house had everything you could possibly need while staying. It was very relaxing sitting on the pier and waving as boats went by , listening to families down the creek having a good time. Caney Creek is so peaceful. It was also a hoot having boats go by asking who was for rent as we sat behind the “Rent Me” sign on the pier! LOL! Great time - you won’t be sorry!WE WILL BE BACK!
