Crow's Nest — a four-level, treehouse-style retreat above the treetops, 24 miles from downtown Leavenworth. Sleeps 4.
Tucked into a private forest above Lake Wenatchee, the Crow's Nest is the treehouse you dreamed about as a kid — grown up, and with a view you won't forget. Four levels of compact, thoughtfully detailed rooms climb up into the trees, and the moment you step onto the deck and look out over the treetops to the mountains and surrounding forest, the name makes perfect sense. It's quiet, serene, and genuinely private — that deep-in-the-woods feeling with all the modern comforts of an easy family getaway. The full kitchen has all the major appliances plus a BBQ, so meals are simple whether you're cooking in or grilling out while the kids explore and climb trees. When everyone's ready to slow down, the sitting room has satellite TV and board games for a cozy evening in.
SLEEPING (sleeps 4, including infants and children):
Master bedroom — Queen bed
Second bedroom — Double bed
Third bedroom — Two fold-out sleeping chairs (a flexible bonus space for kids or lounging)
The queen and double sleep all four guests, so occupancy is capped at 4.

WINTER ACCESS:
The access road is steep and winter conditions change quickly. When snow or ice is present, a high-clearance AWD/4WD vehicle is required, and we strongly recommend carrying snow chains or cables and knowing how to install them. Plow drivers do their best, but access to and from the home can still be challenging, so please plan accordingly. Love Leavenworth is not responsible for any towing charges.

No smoking. No pets. No events. Guests must be 25 or older to reserve (unless the guest has at least three positive reviews). STR Permit #290.
If you're visiting in the winter or summer months, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. The weather can be unpredictable during these seasons, and we hold firm to our cancellation policy.

While on a lengthy road trip to celebrate our anniversary, we stayed at The Crow's Nest for a couple of nights. Such a treat!Our focus for this part of the trip was seeing Leavenworth; it's about a half hour away and is a fun tourist destination. The only real hiccup was at check in, the code to the electronic lock wasn't working right, but a quick phone call solved that.The solitude; the peace and quiet made for a restful stay, I think the loudest noise I heard the whole time there was a blue jay who seemed to think he owned the place.The kitchen has everything one needs to cook and serve meals- that's good as the nearest restaurant is a fair bit away. If the skies are clear, don't forget to look up- there is practically zero light pollution and the sheer number of visible stars is incredible.

Our small group had a wonderful time spending a couple days in this lovely mountain cabin! The treehouse-like nature of the cabin meant you had great views of the lake and it had a nice isolated, cozy feeling. I loved the retro vibes of the interior too! The kitchen was stocked for everything we needed to cook group meals (it's a bit small but manageable for someone used to small apartment kitchens like mine!) It's a short drive down to the lake where you can park and enjoy an easy hike along the lake edge.There definitely were A LOT of stairs both inside and out so I could see an issue for young children (and our 25lb dog was a bit frightened of the open stair style lol) but the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms made it ideal for a group of adults.I would absolutely love to stay at this cabin again. Thanks!
