This was our favorite hotel on our trip to Southern France. The rooms are amazing, the property is stunning, the staff go above and beyond, and the food is delicious. Do not stay anywhere else if you’re staying in Cassis.
Not a single thing. As close to a perfect hotel stay as humanely possible.

Loved it all

Excellent service - the valet and concierge service was excellent on arrival and departure andthe reception was also very helpful
Very tiny bathroom with little space for any toiletries or hang wet towels

The location is good but you have many places that are well located in the area so I would not say it is very special.
The room service lady was very helpful and friendly.
Check-in experience was a disaster. Disorganised staff, distracted receptionist. Restaurant quality was disappointing. The staff in general seemed very young and untrained. One employee asked me if I had paid for the sunbeds, even though the pool area is clearly part of the hotel and not an extra charge. When I explained this to him, he looked confused and didn’t even apologise.
I had a very uncomfortable situation when the toilet door near the main restaurant got stuck while I was inside. It took 40 min for someone to come and open it. When I staff member called the receptionist to report that the lock was broken and a locksmith was needed, the receptionist (on loudspeaker) started yelling at him aggressively saying he did not need to be told what to do. I felt very sorry for the staff member who was trying to help.

Spectacular location, luxurious spaces and great pools. High quality products and offerings. We also used the restaurant which hat great food and the spa treatment itself and the products were great.
Even though we still paid a lot of money we received the smallest room (hotel was not fully booked) and also were not shown around the property even though every other guest was when they arrived. Also during the spa treatment the spa staff was coughing a lot without wearing a mask, which felt very uncomfortable and unhygienic. Also we had to wait longer times (20min) for a drink order so it seems something is not working in the bar concept. This is high level critique but considering the price you would expect these things to work. We visited Four Seasons hotel before, which is in an equal price segment and they had higher level of service and a bigger room.

Location is great but not much else.
Overpriced, location of rooms(rm007 is near to bar and the doof doof music . Grrrr. Restaurant are confused as to what they want to offer in foods options. Too many instagramers .

Location is excellent, views of the bay are super beautiful and the staff are top notch. Very good food & drinks too. Definitely the best place to stay in the Cassis area
The rooms are rather simple for the price you pay + the hotel could have kayaks for guests (paddle boards only for now)

An amazing setting on the rocks above the sea with direct access to the water. Superb furnishings and design throughout. The place could be completely fabulous but for two problems...
... Service during our visit was slow, inefficient and careless throughout, from the car valets through to reception to poolside attendants to restaurant staff. We had to ask repeatedly for service. A small but typical example: we spent two days on the sun terrace and there was in plain sight in the middle of one terrace a crusty dried mound of what looked like a squashed lizard but may just have been mud or tar. It must already have been there for several days. In all that time none of the poolside team had thought to remove it. It was as if the staff were all already miserable and exhausted from a hectic season, but this was just June. What will they be like by September I wonder... Our room was nice enough but without character and on the ground floor in the annexe overlooking the car park despite a rack rate Euro price tag into four figures. It boasted a partial sea view but only over the tops of the cars parked outside. More surprising was the disappointing food offering. Dinner in Les Belles Canailles was one of the most underwhelming experiences of our entire seven-day trip, despite the stunning terrace setting. A €36 artichoke salad was tasty but tiny and the €48 beef fillet comes just as a steak on a plate, accompanied by a side of flabby chickpea panisse chips (shouldn't these be crisp?) and a separate pot of glutinous tomato bearnaise sauce that was literally the same size as the steak. No vegetables. Luckily we had already ordered a separate side of market vegetables for €16 (small but tasty) but the pre-ordered tomato salad took half an hour to materialise. Breakfast buffet was even more disappointing, with a surprisingly small selection of breads, pastries etc. Runny scrambled eggs. No local fruit. Everywhere else we stayed offered cut melon, peaches, apricots and cherries. This was pineapple and grape salad, plus a bowl of uncut fruit for do-it-yourself cutting. The whole offering could and should have been so much better considering the price.

Food in the main restaurant in evening is not of a high standard and is overpriced

Stunning location, super staff
Although the food was good, it would have been good to have some nice French bistro options.

This property by far was the most beautiful of all properties during our trip to the South of France. Our room overlooked the Mediterranean and had an amazing balcony.
Nothing! Zero complaints at all

A bit slow service in the restaurant/cant have lunch unless you book it (even if you’re a hotel guest) which was a bit weird

True 5-star staff.Never a wait.Always someone to help out.Gracious. We had a poorly situated non view room adjacent to the road-and yet the double-glazed windows kept out the noise. Very comfortable bed. Comprehensive breakfast with many healthy options, including soy lattes.
The concierges (often 2)on duty were always present and always helpful. The hotel is adequately ,even abundantly staffed-which is a rarity in France where labor costs are high.
Delicious home -made bread in restaurants.
We ate at two of the three restaurants-and service and staff were at top level.

We loved the hotel location and facilities. Nice infinity pools, very relaxing there, views from every point of the hotel and food from restaurants.
We didn’t like the treatment that we received from some staff from the hotel, guys parking the cars and move luggage can be rude, not taking care about our belongings.
And service in the pool area and restaurants just took too long not really paying attention about our needs when we tried to order just a drink.

The breakfast was excellent, as were the meals we had at the two restaurants and also the restaurant service. The views from the restaurants were pretty.
The view from our room was beautiful, but the room was a a bit small.
The staff was in general very attentive, helpful and professional. Only at the checkout the personnel was rather haughty and not very efficient.

Fantastic location and view.
The various outdoor terrasses are extremely pleasant.
The staff is not always experienced but very nice and helpful.
We had booked a junior suite with sea view. On arrival we were supposedly upgraded to a room with terrasse. it turned out to be a smaller room, with a tiny balcony and a terrasse you access from outside stairs and overlooking the noisy back street (512). A joke! we didn’t appreciate at all the selling story “it’s a great surprise to give you a super upgrade”. After repeatedly insisting on having the room we had initially booked, and not forced into false upgrade, we had to wait for another 2h (till 7pm) to get the right room, as it had to be cleaned. It was great, spacious, with fantastic view and direct access to one of the swimming pool (505). Unfortunately there was a disturbing gutter smell coming out from the bathroom… that couldn’t be solved during our 3 days stay, despite several remarks to the front desk.

Overall outstanding, but the main restaurant is significantly below par compared to the rest of the establishment.
Apart from an excellent breakfast, the food was not up to standard.

If you are looking for the most relaxing experience in Cassis, do not look anywhere else. The rooms are gorgeous, the staff take impeccable care of your needs and the property itself has a lovely swimming pool and private access to a swimming landing. From housekeeping to concierge, we felt welcome the whole time. I could finally take a breath and relax!

Staff were lovely - special mentions go to James on reception and all the concierge staff who were extremely helpful. Lovely situation with stunning views and great facilities, but ....see below
Food was not good. On the breakfast, the scrambled eggs and cooked vegetables were not hot and items ran out and were not promptly replaced. The only dinner we had in the restaurant was very disappointing - two of us had the chicken which had to be sent back twice because it was not hot, and even when it came back the second time it was barely warm enough.
At the prices charged this is just unacceptable.
