Pénde Suites

Good location - Close to shops and restaurants Very nicely decorated, I really liked the colors. Good breakfast however it would be better to have different type of eggs, cheese etc, not the same everyday. I loved freshly squeezed orange juice and greek yoghurt. Tea option would also be nice. Comfortable beds Room clean, but beach towels and bathroom floor towel are not changed everyday, which I think should be. These are the ones that get dirty very quickly.

1) Host not Helpful: When we arrived at Serifos, we did not get a car for that day because it was already 18.00. My mom, her friend (both over 60) and I headed to walk to the hotel. The hill going up to the hotel was very steep for them to pull their luggages. I sent a message to the host to get some help. She called me and her first sentence was "what is the problem?". I told her that we need help with luggages and she insisted that there was no one to do it. We had to climb the hill with no help. When we got to Pende Suites we saw that our room was upstairs. We said we needed help. I did not expect her to carry them by herself, but with an age half my mother she could have helped me. She said she has a back problem ( I don't know) My mother and I had to carry our luggages up. My mother's friend was staying at Nostos (very close to Pende) and someone immediately came to help her. I don't see the point in having someone at the reception if he/she can't or does not help customers when needed. I don't need anyone to give me a key. The rooms can be opened by codes and information can be given by a text. I was really disappointed at our check in. 2) Car Park problem: I was told that Pende suites has a 3 car park spot in the next small street. When I hired a car, I saw that 3 of them were full. I asked the host about this and she replied there was only one customer with a car and did not know the others, and I could park in front of Pende suites which was also occupied at that time. So I was left with the problem by myself with no solution. That night when I came back from Chora there was a spot in the mentioned area and I parked. The next day a guy came a told me that Pende has 2 spots and the other was his as he paid for it. I said that I did not know this. When I mentioned this to the host, she said that he was lying.

Sauber, gute Lage zum Strand und in den Ort! Frühstück wird in einem Korb geliefert! Keine Verpackungen, alles in in kleinen Gläsern! Jeden Tag werden die Kaffeekapseln und die Wasserflaschen aufgefüllt! Bademantel und Hausschuhe vorhanden sowie Strandtücher!

Ein kleiner Mangel ist das fehlende Moskitosnetz im Schlafraum!!!! Wir schauen furchtbar aus! Auf der Terrasse wäre ein Sonnenschutz (Sonnenschirm oder Rollos) von Vorteil

Very attentive host, absolutely fantastic location - only a few minutes walk to either the port or an incredible beach lined with a few tavernas. The daily breakfast basket was the best touch, we were blown away with the local treats each day: fresh fruits, feta, cucumbers, olives, tomatoes, yogurt, local honey, freshly baked bread or pastries, and hard boiled eggs. The room itself was spotless, modern, and would make even the pickiest of folks happy.

Not the hotel's fault at all, it's an island thing, beware of the ants! Don't leave a single crumb out or prepare to be invaded.

Great hosts, really wish we could’ve stayed longer. Really accomodating and the breakfast basket was amazing. Local home made ingredients ❤️ This is definitely a must to put on your list.
