About this cabin rental

Folly Farm Shepherd Hut is luxury self-catering accommodation for two adults. The Shepherd Hut is comfortable and cosy and is based on a traditional shepherd hut design, but featuring all modern day facilities. These include a comfortable double bed, a seating area, a kitchen including hot and cold running water, a cooker and hob and a fridge freezer. There is also a shower room, sink and loo. The Shepherd Hut is also heated and insulated and can be used at anytime of the year. A garden around the Shepherd Hut has a table and chairs for relaxing and dining outside on summer days and evenings.

The Shepherd Hut has it's own parking space on the farm, which is a working arable and sheep farm on which there are some lovely walks in the wonderful Buckinghamshire countryside, and day to day farm life and activities can be observed. The Shepherd Hut is in a quiet spot on the farm, where countryside sounds can be heard like bird song and sheep. Beautiful starry skies can also be observed while relaxing in the garden.

A welcome pack will be provided with provisions for a breakfast of eggs, & toast. There is also tea, coffee, orange juice.

The Shepherd Hut is ideally located between Buckingham and Winslow, where you can easily go to Addington Equestrian Centre, Silverstone Circuit, Bletchley Park, Stowe, Waddesden and Claydon Houses. Milton Keynes and Oxford are also within half an hours drive. Locally there many places to shop, and eat including the award winning Old Thatched Inn at Adstock, which is a short walk or drive away for great food and drinks.

Beautiful little hut in a beautiful setting, friendly host, loved the breakfast provided, it went down really well! Just a note that check out is listed as 11am on vrbo but is actually 10am! We suddenly had to dash, but otherwise, loved it and would definitely stay again

Great stay for an event at Silverstone. The shepherds hut is great for 1 or 2, well equipped and the provisions in the fridge was a nice touch. During stay had a brief spell of very heavy rain and strong winds, absolutely no problem with noise which I feared as it is well insulated. Philip and the black cat were excellent hosts, the cat even came to say good bye when I left early morning on my departure. Great place to stay if you are fed up with chain hotels

Nice remote location, if that's something you fancy (I did), but be aware that shops, dining, and everything else will require a trip in the car. Very tidy and had most of the essentials, but was crammed into a very tight space. Perfectly adequate for a brief stay (four nights in my case), but would have made things more difficult for any longer. Owner replied promptly to queries. Good value for money. Recommended.

We had a lovely stay at the hut for the week. My boyfriend was visiting from the US so it was a lovely location that was close to a lot good locations and to show our country life . Was a very well equipped place which meant we were able to cook some meals if we wanted a nice evening in! Such a nice romantic place we would defo come back. (Ps obsessed with the farm cat who loved to come say hello)

Despite the weather we had a lovely stay! The shepherd hut holds all essentials you need and Philip is very friendly and left all required to make a lovely bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast, also the orange juice and prosecco is a nice touch!

Me and my partner had a lovely stay at The Shephard’s Hut. It had absolutely everything we needed and was very cosy. The host was very welcoming and would have been there for any queries if needed. The prosecco and breakfast provided made it even better as it meant we barely needed to buy any food. Perfect for a couples trip. Thank you and hope to be back again soon!

What an amazing weekend at Folly Farm Shepherd Hut, everything you could want was provided...clean & tidy....and bed was so comfy! My Daughter and I had a wonderful stay it was warm & cosy. The hosts left goodies in the fridge for breakfast .....such a lovely touch. Will definitely be back.....Thank you so much 😊

It was booked for my parents as part of my dad's 70th birthday present. They were very happy with the accommodation. It was clean, well appointed, owners were welcoming and it was very conveniently located for the purpose of the visit ...an event at Silverstone!

Very well presented accommodation in a pleasant and secure setting .Used it to attend the grand prix at Silverstone which gave me easy and quick route to the event. Would highly recommend it as an relatively inexpensive alternative to hotels and camping for the the grand prix.

The hut itself has everything you could need, very comfy bed, good shower and bathroom facilities and kitchen area. The heating was a great addition making it perfectly warm on the winter nights of November! The fridge was fully stocked with breakfast items and a bottle of prosecco on arrival which was a lovely touch. We went to the Old Thatched Inn for dinner after a recommendation from the owner which was very good!! Would defiantly go back again. Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone.

What an amazing place! The shepherd's hut was fantastic with everything you might need. Even the fridge had milk, eggs, bacon, marmalade, butter, orange juice and Prosecco! Philip was very helpful and recommended The Old Thatch Inn for food nearby which was so amazingly good we went back twice in our two night stay! I would thoroughly recommend this as a romantic getaway. Top marks for everything.

The shepherd hut is a lovely touch of luxury, the finish is truly fantastic. There is everything you could need or want. The bed was very comfortable and the shower room is top notch. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone, I'm sure I will be back.

Alles was versprochen und ausgelobt war, fand ich auch vor - die Bilder waren sehr vielversprechend, die Realität vor Ort war noch besser. Ich wurde sehr nett empfangen und willkommen geheißen; Philip Webb hat mir alles nötige erklärt und ich musste dann nur noch meinen Aufenthalt genießen. Der Kühlschrank war auch gefüllt - ein Willkommensgruß der Familie Webb -, so dass ich nicht erst los zum nächsten Supermarkt musste, um mir etwas zu Essen zu besorgen. Die Shepherd Hut ist mit Liebe gestaltet und eingerichtet - modern, alles sehr gut funktionierend und von sehr guter Qualität. Wer Erholung, Natur und Bequemlichkeit wünscht, ist auf der Folly Farm am richtigen Ort. Vielen Dank an die Familie Webb für die schöne Zeit auf der Folly Farm. ******************* All promises in the internet ad were true - the pictures at the web were great, reality was even better. I was warmly welcomed and Philip Webb explained all necessary things - the only thing I had to do was to enjoy my stay. The fridge was also filled, - welcome greetings of the Webb family -, so that I had not first to drive to a supermarket to get food. The shepherd hut ist lovely planned and furnished - modern, functional, high quality. Who is looking for rest, nature and convenience is at Folly Farm at the right place. Many thanks to the Webb Family for my great time at Folly Farm.
