Villa with garden and swimmingpool at mt. 10 from the sea

It is the finest House with the most amasing location near the ocean. The pool and the view is fantastic. The host is sweet and very good at communication. We Will for sure recommend this House.

Pros: nice small pool, the view, the waves 10-15 meters from house, friendly owner. Quiet headland location, Scoglitti village 10 mins drive with basic amenities nice grocers and bakers etc. No tourists in October. Informal and simple lifestyle for a chill out. Accoms for 11 in a 3 bed and 4 doubles. Nice outside sun area overlooking the Med. if you want an unsophisticated chill out place for a large group away from it all then this would suit. Beach access 2 mins away but littered as are many Italian beaches esp out of season. Some good waves for bodyboarding along this coast. The cost per week is very reasonable. But you get what you pay for. It is what they call authentic. Cons. Plenty of these. Very basic accommodation. Student style. No lounge or comfy inside area. Sceptic tank only so no loo paper can be used. 1 outside ground floor loo shower bidet for the room on 1st half landing. No glass window for this room only wooden shutter. Top level has 1 bathroom serving 2 doubles. Some beds are ok. Others are camp beds put together. Ground floor has a bathroom for 2 remaining bedrooms. Decor, kitchen equipment, bedding, bathrooms layout and fixtures could be upgraded a lot! The area is surrounded by plastic poly tunnels for veg and fruit and is not pretty or looked after but it’s a poor area on a poor island. Great base to explore Montalbano sites and temples museums and nicer towns. Arturo the owner lives an hour away and is nice enough. All that said we had a good time.
