About this house rental
This charming two bedroom Gite Sleeps 4 people comfortably. Travel Cot and High Chair are available for younger children and an additional Z bed can be set up to accommodate a 5th person.
The Gite has living room incorporating the kitchen and eating areas. There is a small open terrace for eating adjacent and access to the communal gardens.
The Kitchenette is equipped with dishwasher, cooker, hob, microwave, Fridge/freezer.
There are shared laundry facilities.
The communal 11m x 5m Salt water swimming pool is set in its own enclosed gardens with plenty of space for sitting and enjoying the sunshine.
There is a communal Games room with billiard table, table foot ball, table tennis, summer kitchen and Terrace for family get togethers.
This is part of a small complex of three Gites and this Gite could be booked alongside the other two Gites for a larger family party (up to 14 people).
Set in 4 hectares of grounds bordering a stream this property is in a great location to explore the picturesque Lot Valley, with its agriculture, woodlands, castles and Bastide Towns.
Penne d'Agenais is steeped in History with castle ruins dating back to Richard the Lionheart. The Basilica and Nearby Shrine are on one of the Pilgrim routes from Cahors.
This regions is well known for its gastronomy and there is a nearby Michelin star restaurant, lots of other fine restaurants as well as opportunities to sample the excellent local wines and food.

It is a very appreciable and magnificent cottage. Even if we were not able to take advantage of all the facilities, we plan to return soon.

Paul et Sarah ont le sens de l’accueil ! Aux petits soins, A l’écoute de chaque besoin, adaptables, au top ! À l image du joli panier d’accueil.
L’endroit est charmant, bien entretenu, très bien équipé. Rien à reprocher, à refaire !!

We had two great weeks. We stayed with our two children (7 and 9 years old) in Le Rosier. Paul and Sarah are very nice people who do everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The bottle of wine upon arrival was really a pleasant surprise and the weekly get together was fenominal, twice..... :)
We recieved many tips from Paul and Sarah about the nice places to visit in the area, so we experienced the French live to the fullest.
The two boys emjoyed the swimming pool and the game room very much.
The apartment Le Rosier is very spacious and well-kept and has a nice terrace. We will definitely return!!

A great place to unwind and recharge the batteries, set in the middle of large park like grounds with stunning views of picturesque Penne D'Agenais.
The three Gites can accommodate 2 to 14 people people ( 1bed with mezzanine 2 to 4 people) (2 bed 4 to 5 people) (2 bed 5 to 6 people) in a lovely barn conversion with original features that are well equipped. There is a large (11 metre) pool that can be enjoyed when a little warmer and there is even a games room. It is very reasonably priced.
It is a short walk to a water park that is ideal for children, which includes a restaurant. A further walk takes you to the medieval town of Penne D'Agenais, with it's quaint streets and shops and it's beautiful domed church that can be seen for miles around.
The town also has a large choice of restaurants for most tastes.
You can walk (or drive) to the close by river Lot with it's various water sports and views. Within a drive are three interesting Chateaux and many interesting towns and villages of the area.
If you like walking / cycling / day trips or just time by the pool it is well worth considering. Your hosts Jan & John are discreet but can offer any advice or help needed.
