About this cottage rental
THE SOURCE OF PINAR is the result of the respect for the traditional architecture of Segovia and the modernity of the moment that we live. The house is located in the village of Valdesimonte, in an old building used as a stable for the sheep, built in the year 42 and restored in the year 2.016. The rehabilitation has been carried out preserving the rustic charm and using noble materials such as stone, wood, clay cooked in solados and tiles (made and painted by hand in artisan workshops). On the other hand, our deep respect and commitment to the planet has led us to use geothermy as an energy source that allows us to obtain hot water, heating and cooling through radiant floor throughout the house, in order to achieve a sustainable balance with environment.
The accommodation retains the essence of our ancestors, and has all the necessary comforts for a pleasant and comfortable stay.
La Fuente del Pinar is fully self-contained and fully independent. It has capacity for 10 people and has:
2 BEDROOMS, on the first floor.
3 double bedrooms, one on the ground floor and two on the first floor.
5 BATHROOMS complete, including inside the rooms, two of them with whirlpool bath and the other three with hydromassage column.
The fully equipped KITCHEN is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, hob, microwave, refrigerator, Italian coffee machine, small appliances (toaster, juicer, blender). Crockery, glassware (glasses, wine glasses ect), cutlery, cookware and espresso pot.
THE LOUNGE has; Television (flat screen and USB port), DVD (with USB port), French fireplace, WIFI (free) and dining area.
Separate toilet for the living area and kitchen.
ROOM OF GAMES, counts on billiards, table football, diana, collection of table games and infantile and television. It also has a bathroom.
ABROAD:
EL PATIO, has a large open area with lawn and another roof (porch) with barbecue. The porch is equipped with a table, benches, paellera, iron, frying pan (butane bottle), grills and dishes, is ideal to taste some chops made in the fire.
THE SWIMMING POOL AND THE JACUZZI, to use it in the summer season.
OTHER DATA OF INTEREST
HOT WATER, HEATING AND REFRIGERATION of the house we obtain it by means of geothermal energy. The heating is under floor heating and the temperature can be regulated to suit the traveler, because each room has its own thermostat. The cooling of the house in summer is also obtained by passive cold through geothermal.
CUNAS service, free. Check availability at the time of booking
LA FIRE, to light the French fireplace in the living room, we leave it during the winter without any additional cost.
MOSQUITERAS, in all the windows.
DOCUMENTATION OF THE AREA, we have a dossier where you can consult the most interesting tourist points of interest in the area, as well as a listing with the most interesting active tourism activities with phone numbers the place and the distance where they are made .
Additional Information.
The rooms have sheets, a washcloth and a bath towel (per person), two pillows and two blankets (per person).
In the bathrooms we leave toilet paper, foot shower mat, hand towels and hair dryer.
In the kitchen we put; Paper napkins, kitchen paper, dishwasher tablets, dishcloths, laundry detergent and fabric softener, trash bags, scouring pads, cloths (brand new) and tablecloths. Iron and ironing board. In the house we leave no food (no salt, no sugar, no oil ...), for reasons of cleanliness and hygiene

Pasamos unos dias inolvidables en una casa preciosa, parece una casa de cuento. Es enorme, con su baño en cada habitación y todas las comodidades que podais imaginar. No le falta detalle. Pero ya lo de la sala de juegos es una pasada. Puedes pasarte alli el dia metido y no te aburres. Iremos sin duda en verano para poder disfrutar a tope de todos los rincones, del patio, del porche de esa piscina que hasta tapada dan ganas de tirarte.
Volveremos!
