About this villa rental
Casa Moscatella is a characteristic three-story age-old farm house surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. It sleeps six people. From Casa Moscatella you will enjoy a fascinating view of Montepulciano and of the hills of Valdichiana. Casa Moscatella is 250 square meters (2690 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private patio, a private garden, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 2.5 km (1.5 miles) from Montepulciano, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the stop for the Siena Mobilità bus Servizio Urbano Montepulciano line 2 at 100 meters (330 feet).
You will not need a car to stay at Casa Moscatella. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, inside the entrance gate.

Swimming Pool
The above-ground swimming pool is 5 meters (16 feet) large by 8 meters (26 feet) long, 1.5 meters (5 feet) deep. The area is equipped with a table, chairs, two deck chairs and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a fascinating view of Montepulciano and of the hills of Valdichiana. The pool is open from mid-May until the end of September.
Patio
The patio is 25 square meters (270 square feet) large. It is shaded by a characteristic porch made of stone. It is equipped with a table and chairs. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue.
Garden
The garden is 5000 square meters (54000 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by olive trees. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the garden you will enjoy a pleasant view of Montepulciano and of the hills of Valdichiana. The garden, which is for your exclusive use, is occasionally crossed by the gardener.
Ground FloorLiving Room
The living room is paved with terracotta tiles. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are warm and welcoming, and include some hand-made pieces by local artisans. The furnishings include a sofa. There is a big fireplace made of bricks. From the living room you will be able to enter the garden through two French doors. The room has a large panoramic arched window.
Dining Room
You will be able to enter the dining room from the living room. The dining table can accommodate eight guests. The furnishings include a sofa. In this room you will also find a flat-screen television (local channels). The room has two windows.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the dining room. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher and an Italian-style coffee-maker. Here you will also find a washing machine (hidden in a cabinet). The dining table can accommodate three guests. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the patio and the garden. The room has a window.
Half bath
The half-bath is equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. You will be able to enter it from the dining room.
First FloorBedroom 1
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window with a view of the greenery and of the hills.
Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor or from another independent entrance climbing 16 steps. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the external stairway through a French door. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower.

The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.
Second FloorBedroom 3 with en-suite bathroom

Wonderful house in the outskirts of Montepulciano immersed in olive trees but with easy access to all the amenities of the town, which can be reached with a 20-minute walk.
The outdoor area and the pool are fantastic, offering privacy and the ability to dine al fresco throughout the day. The house has all the amenities one needs to feel at home. The view of Montepulciano and the surrounding countryside is stunning.
We enjoyed Montepulciano but also visited many other beautiful towns that are within 30-min to 1 hour drive from the house.
Lastly, the host was incredibly attentive. He was in touch before and throughout our stay and managed to have the washing machine fixed promptly. In sum, this is a gem of a house in the middle of one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany.

The house is located in the outskirts of Montepulciano, about a 20 minutes walk from the center. It is surrounded by olive trees and makes you feel like you are completely isolated from the rest of the world. We had many wonderful dinners in the covered porch listening to birds and the wind among the trees. The pool is also great, very private and comfortably deep for a swim. The house has all you need to cook and they also offer to organize a cooked dinner for you, if you want to taste the local cuisine. The bedrooms are nice but might be difficult to access by someone with mobility issues because of the spiral staircase that connects the floors. Some windows have nets so you can leave them open to let the breeze in. The host was very attentive and super nice.kept in constant contact and arranged for the washing machine to be fixed immediately when it broke..As for the location, Montepulciano is a wonderfully town with good restaurants and excellent wineries. We made several day trips including Pienza and Montalcino.
