120 steps to beach! Safely on the beach side of the road!

Second time staying on Manasota Key near Englewood Beach. House is at a perfect location for beach access, restaurants, fishing charters, and more. Property was clean and well stocked - we used the kitchen for multiple dinners and had all we needed. Was too hot for the outdoor dining, but would be great in cooler weather. Would stay again without hesitation.

Lazy Days truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we walked in, we could tell how much care had gone into the property. Everything was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, and so welcoming. There were more than enough linens and towels, and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.We loved the covered parking and spent many mornings and evenings relaxing on the covered back patio. After long days at the beach, the outdoor shower with direct access to the bathrooms was such a thoughtful feature. The house was also stocked with plenty of beach supplies, so we didn't have to worry about bringing much with us. Best of all, the beach is only about 150 feet away. Being able to walk there in just a minute or two made this trip feel especially relaxing, and the beach itself was absolutely beautiful.The only small suggestion we have would be to provide a few additional kitchen cleaning supplies. We enjoy keeping the home clean during our stay and leaving it in great condition for the next guests and the owners.We made so many wonderful memories here and were genuinely sad to leave. Thank you for sharing such a lovely place with us. We will absolutely be staying at Lazy Days again the next time we visit Manasota Key!

The host was very friendly and even let us check in early, which we appreciated. The location was good, and overall the house had potential for a great stay.That said, some advertised amenities weren’t as expected. The grill hadn’t been cleaned, the beach umbrellas and cart were broken, and the ice maker didn’t work. Only a few laundry strips were provided, yet checkout required washing towels, and no dishwasher detergent was supplied though we were asked to run it. I even had to replace the fridge filter myself.Individually these things are small, but together they showed a need for better upkeep. A simple checklist between guests would solve most of it. The booklet promised “everything you need” and even asked for a 5-star review, which didn’t match the reality.
