Chalet Toubkal was just superb for our family of four and my sister's family of five. This was the first time we had seen each other in 2 years due to Covid. Particular to our situation was age distribution of our kid group which had 4 middle schoolers (siblings of 2 boys, 2 girls ) and an 18-year-old. The house was just perfect for this group as the basement room was great for the oldest to have space to himself. The foosball table, the hot tub and board games were wonderful for when the kids needed some fun and when the parents needed them to be somewhere else... The PS4 would’ve been great - if we had allowed them to use it. But seriously, the charging cable for the controllers was missing FYI. The sauna was loads of fun. The fireplace, in contrast to our early concerns about whether there would be enough wood, was amply supplied and provided for extra winter cheer particularly for those of us cramped in an apartment in northern Europe without one. Incredibly well-equipped kitchen with only a sharpener/steel missing for the knife ware. We used the raclette machine as well as the cast iron casserole that fitted our Christmas leg of lamb. The beds were great as was the layout allowing for parental groups to have privacy while the kids had their space and easy access bathrooms. The house was very clean. On our last day we somehow entered the wrong input on the laundry thinking that we had a 45min cycle but somehow landed on a much longer cycle. Luckily for us the managerial staff was incredibly professional and flexible enough (thank you Katrin!) to give us a little extra time to complete our final laundry load before our drive out. Highly recommended for 9 people easily. It’s the kind of place one makes a note of for future returns.

Beautiful chalet with everything you need for a fun family holiday (including adult time)
Beautiful chalet with everything you need for a fun family holiday (including adult time)
We stayed here from the 10th-17th Feb 2019. It was a truly amazing holiday and the chalet was a huge part of that. It is set in such beautiful surroundings with more than enough amenities for the kids and adults alike. The chalet itself is spacious and well equipped with everything you need for a family self catered holiday. There were 9 of us, 4 adults and 5 children and there were no complaints from anyone. The hot tub and sauna were amazing after a day on the slopes and the beds extremely comfortable for that much needed sleep. The chalets is set within a short walk of Samoëns and so there is no need to drive in and find parking other than to pick up your skis. Would definitely stay here again and can’t recommend it enough.

Living the Dream!
Living the Dream!
A wonderful experience from start to finish; from the time we were greeted at the chalet by Gabby and Freddie from Alps Accommodation to the day we left (reluctantly). The chalet had everything we needed and more. Within a day we were calling it ‘home’. Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas were second to none. So often, holiday accommodation has beds and mattresses that are basic and uncomfortable - quite the opposite with Chalet Toubkal. Add to the general ambience the fact that we could enjoy a soak in the hot tub and a detox in the barrel sauna and you have an idyllic place to stay in a spectacular setting. Don’t delay. This is special.

Excellent, Stylish, Clean, Home from Home
Excellent, Stylish, Clean, Home from Home
Chalet Toubkal provides an excellent, stylish, clean home from home in the Alps. Ash and Mike gave us the initial tour of the property on our arrival and they kept in touch over our holiday to make sure we had everything we needed - We could not fault the service provided. We have stayed in many Chalets over the last few years but never received this level of service before. The chalet is in an excellent location with extensive views of the snow capped mountains from the balcony or the hot tub. It provided an excellent hub for our sons downhill mountain biking and our visits to the local towns and even further afield to Annecy and Chamonix. We hope to return one day.
