We had a fabulous time staying in this apartment. It has a character and charm that made us feel very relaxed and ‘at home’. We found it to be quiet and peaceful. And the views from the apartment and the balcony are wonderful. Our host provided everything we needed and was very responsive to all our enquiries. The steps up to the apartment (68!) might be an issue for some visitors but we appreciated the great work out they gave us every day! Thank you Céline for everything.

I loved this apartment. It fulfilled my dream of living like a local for 1 month in the South of France. I had friends from Europe and the U.S. visit during my stay. Everyone loved the place. I knew that there were many stairs to access the apartment, but did not realize that the walk to the train station was not feasible with luggage. I opted to arrive from Nice via Uber and was glad I did. Once there I used the train, walking and Uber to get around. Most Uber and taxi drivers have their own car service on the side. Mine was wonderful and I'd be happy to provide his contact information. The only suggestion I would make is for those of us whose French is minimal, that there be some written instructions in English for use of appliances, directions to grocery store and train station etc. Patrice was lovely checking me in, but our communication was minimal. The nearest grocery route is to go up the back stairs to the top street and walk down the hill. The 100 bus will bring you back up for 1.5 euros and the stop is directly at the gate to the back stairs. I spent hours on the balcony enjoying the spectacular view, which was exactly as pictured. I hope to return one day.

The apartment was everything and more than we could have hoped for. A lovely welcome from our host who was friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was so well equipped, and very spacious and comfortable. The views from the balcony, and indeed every window were stunning. We fitted so much into a very busy week here, but we were always so happy to get back ‘home’ and enjoy relaxing on the balcony. We will definitely be back again.

Wonderful stay in a great apartment!

A lovely and welcoming apartment, well equipped and with an amazing view. It is well located being close to both bus and train lines. We stayed for a month with no car and were able to visit all the places we wanted to see up and down the coast. The return ‘home’ was always a treat, as the place was a beautiful oasis from the hubbub of bigger villages, towns and cities. Nearby, there is swimming in the sea at the local Golfe Bleu beach and a lovely hike around Cap Martin to Carnoles. The short trip to Menton with its markets, old town, out door eating and lovely gardens was a treat that we enjoyed many times. We were also able to visit some medieval towns such as Gorbio and even to walk up to ‘old’ Roquebrune which can be seen clearly from the front balcony (which also has a beautiful view of the sea). As well, if you enjoy art museums, there is the Picasso Museum at Antibes, Chagall and Matisse in Nice and the Fernand Leger Musee at Biot, all easily accessible by train. Wonderful experience in a great spot!

The setting of this apartment (top floor of the three-storey villa) is wonderful. The apartment is simply but comfortably furnished, with the added bonuses of a balcony with sea view and a small terrace-garden (table and chairs) at the back. The beach is nearby (visible from the balcony), and the train station is also within a short walk. It's worth pointing out that the nearest supermarket is on the outskirts of Roquebrune, just before you reach Monte Carlo. If you have no car, you may find this a bit of a pain, as it's about 20 minutes on foot. However, there's a 24-hr supermarket in Monte Carlo, and it's just one stop along by train, with a good service. The railway line skirts the coast, so you can see it from the apartment, but it didn't bother us. Be prepared to get a good workout every day, as there are many steps between the apartment and the beach/train station! We're fit, but it did occur to me that this apartment would not suit elderly or infirm holiday makers. The owner was great about responding to messages, and her representative at Roquebrune was also friendly and helpful.

"Magnifique sejour. Wonderful longterm stay! We had a magnificent and charming 3 monyhs stay (with a baby) in this very well situated appartment, full of charm and with wonderfull views and outdoor surroundings. The balcony and small garden are complementary and offers great choice and variety. The appartment is very airy and practical with large windows and well decorated. Kitchen ok equipped as well as the rest ok the appartment. You need nothing more! Practical to have a car for shopping groceries but not needed. The train station is a short walk away (5 min) and the bus runs just up the street, even the airport bus. The beach is 3 minutes away and the promenade round Cap Martin is one of the most wonderful walks in the world!Long and steep stairs but we did not have a problem with a baby.The views, smell of lavender and orangetrees in the garden just makes this a little pearl that we will revisit this year. We can not wait!"

Wir waren im September, also nach der Hauptsaison, hier. Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen, besonders die grandiose Aussicht auf die Bucht von Roquebrune ist tatsächlich so, wie auf den Fotos zu sehen. So kann man bis spät in die Nacht die glitzernen Luxusyachten anschauen, die dort auf eine Einfahrt in den Hafen von Monaco warten. Die Terasse auf der Rückseite spendet morgens guten Schatten und hat einen großen Esstisch mit Sonnenschirm für Abends. Zu Fuß ist man in 10 Minuten am Strand und in 20 Minuten am Supermarkt und beim Bäcker, 30 Minuten zu Fuß nach Monte Carlo, außerdem hält der Bus oberhalb vom Haus, dort gibt es auch einen Eingang zum Hausgelände, direkt an der Bushaltestelle Richtung Menton. Die Bushaltestelle Richtung Monaco und Nizza ist ebenfalls nicht weit entfernt. Man sollte allerdings, wie immer in dieser Gegend, gut zu Fuß sein, da die tolle Lage der Wohnung natürlich nur über Treppen erreichbar ist. Auch ein möglicher Fußweg in die Ortsmitte des historischen Roquebrune bedeutet ca. 45 Minuten Treppensteigen, was sich aber lohnt. Es gibt auch dorthin einen Bus und einen öffentlichen Parkplatz am Ortszentrum. Ansonsten sind Parkplätze hier eher ein Problem. Zum Glück erlaubt die Nachbarin Gästen, ein Auto vor der Garage zu parken, wenn es passt. Ruhig ist es hier nur wenige Stunden in der Nacht, da oberhalb die Hauptstraße zwischen Monaco und Menton verläuft und gerne von Motorrädern und schnellen Autos genutzt wird. Es ist hier schon sehr eng bebaut, aber ein wunderschöner Platz am Meer, sehr zentral gelegen.

House dirty, the property told me they didn’t provide sheets or towels so I had to bring everything for 6 people. When I got there the lady checking me in told me she could give me sheets for 10€ per person ,they weren’t even ironed. (Never happens to me I had to pay extra for sheets or bring them from home for 2 weeks rental). Internet absolutely wasn’t working, I text the property asking for urgent help because my husband had to work and had important meetings but the answer was “I don’t have a solution”. Very noisy house, you can hear trains, cars, moto all night. No care of the house or of the gusset renting it. No absolutely would not recommend it at all.

Eine gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit tollem Blick, für 4 Personen wirklich großzügig. Lage direkt an der Bushaltestelle, Parkplatz vor dem Haus, nah am Strand, eben alles mit Treppen. Die Wohnung war leider nur von Samstag bis Samstag zu buchen und wir haben nochmal extra für Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Endreinigung bezahlt.

Die Unterkunft ist schon deutlich abgewohnt. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht mehr. Die sanitären Einrichtungsgegenstände( besonders die Dusche) müssten erneuert werden. Sehr schön ist der Blick vom Balkon auf das Meer. Für ältere Personen sind die steilen Stufen schwer zu bewältigen.

Tres bien accueilli par Fabienne qui nous a aidé tous au long de notre séjour, appartement très propre, au calme avec une vue incroyable sur la mer. Il n'y manque rien !!! Nous venons à Monaco pour le travail tous les ans et si cela est possible nous louerons à nouveau ce logement que nous conseillons vivement ! Nos excuses pour avoir rendu l'appartement un peu tard, nous avons fini vraiment très tard le dernier jour ! Merci encore ce fût pour nous un agréable séjour !
