We had a good stay. This is a nice house with a fine garden. The only thing that was missing was a swimmingpool nearby. It would have been better if this was communicated to us. With a swimmingpool nearby it would have been a perfect holliday. Now I would classify it with an 8. The mountains arround us, the views, the scenary, the nature... verry beautifull.

This was a dream villa in Tuscany hills. The owners are so helpful and welcoming . We would like to thanks them for this perfect holiday. They was waiting for us even that we arrived very late. The house is perfect and have everything that we needed. It was very clean and with a lot of nice details (even the soap and the kitchen paper were nice set with name of Tuscany). The area is very quiet and green. The Garten in the house is very good set with lot of flowers. Our kids were very happy to play there with the water and plants. The beaches are not far away (10-15 min by car). Also the nearest town is very nice and it's a part of routa de vino. I recommend also Sasseta Therme. Also the swimming pool in the area is very big and perfect for kids with a nice cafeteria. In the mornings we were swimming in the pool and in the afternoons we were exploring the beaches. Our experience in Paolo y Lidia home was more than a perfect. Thank you for everything!

A perfect haven

The complex has good walks, a large swimming pool with loungers and umbrellas! Plus bar/restaurant. The property was as described and more, the gardens were well maintained with a fabulous BBQ to the rear of the property. There was lots of interesting plants. Lots of outdoor space The property was clean and had everything that was needed. Plenty of beautiful bedding plus lots of towels. The owners have put a lot of time and effort in making this an enjoyable and peaceful haven. I would highly recommend this house not only to friends/family but to anyone wishing to visit Tuscany. The situation is an ideal place to return to after visiting lots of tourist cities : Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Florence to name a few. it is also just 20 minutes from the beach. A thoroughly relaxing holiday.

Lidia und Paolo sind ganz liebe Gastgeber in idyllischer Umgebung (zur Begrüßung wurde uns eine große Obstschüssel hin gestellt!) und haben sich um jedes Anliegen sofort gekümmert und uns unterstützt. Das Haus war sehr gepflegt, gemütlich eingerichtet und die Küchen-Ausstattung hervorragend bestückt. Der Garten war groß und sehr gepflegt. In der Umgebung sind hervorragende und empfehlenswerte Lokale, falls man keine Lust zum Selberkochen hat. ;-) Wir kommen wieder!

Das Ferienhaus ist ein Traum füt Toskana Urlauber, hervorragende Lage , nichtz wiet zum Meer ca18 km . Liegt weit oben in den Bergen desahlb die Temperaturen zum Strand sehr angenehm. Die Besitzer Paolo und Lidia sind super Gastgeber. Begrüßung ein riesiger Obstkorb, vielen Dank nochmal an Euch zwei. Der Wäschewechsel Handtücher und Bettwäsche klappte ausgezeichnet. Das Haus war wunderbar eingerichtet mit echt italienischem Charm. Der Garten mit Grill und Sonnenliegen sowie wunerschönem Blumen war sehr schö. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen!!! Danke nochmal an Paolo und Lidia das wir eure Feriengäste sein durften. Grüße Ulli, Simone und Marco

Casa splendida e dotata di praticamente tutta l'utensileria che serve per viverci senza problemi. I proprietari sono disponibili, cordiali e gentili, ci hanno fatto trovare frutta fresca e buona!! La piscina non è molto vicina e non l'abbiamo mai utilizzata. La casa è immersa nel verde, ideale per staccarsi dalla vita quotidiana. Fate la spesa priva di andarci, perché il supermercato è a 25 minuti di auto, il primo alimentari a 15. Comunque tutto ottimo!!! Grazie a Paolo e Lidia!!!

Ein hervorragendes Ambiente. Sehr gut und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Häuschen. Dazu gehörte Kücheneinrichtung, Schlafräume und außen Bereich. Das Haus befindet sich in eine schöne ruhige Lage. Gute Anbindungsmöglichkeiten zum Einkaufen sowie zum Strand, wenn man mobil ausgestattet ist. Die Gastfreundliche Besitzer einfach zum weiter empfehlen. Vielen lieben Dank von uns.

Landestypisch, entsprach der Beschreibung, ruhige Lage, herrliche Umgebung, guter Standort um Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden. Ideal für Selbstversorger. Die Poolbenutzung sollte man mit den Eigentümern vor Ort aushandeln, da nicht frei zugänglich, funktioniert aber recht gut. Für Kaffeeliebhaber ist die Mitnahme eines Kaffeefilters sinnvoll, da dies hier nicht so häufig nachgefragt wird. TV ist vorhanden, aber eben in Landessprache. Das Besitzerpaar Paolo und Lidia sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mit etwas Englisch kann man sich sehr gut verständlich machen. Muß leider die Warheit schreiben und ich bin mir natürlich bewußt, dass der Vermieter eine Gegendarstellung schreiben wird. Das Positive zuerst: -Sauber -ruhig gelegen - schöner Garten Entfernung zum Strand - 30 Min. nicht kürzer Das Haus - schon in die Jahre gekommen - Küche nicht ausreichend ausgestattet Schlafzimmer - Großes geht einigermaßen - das Kleine ist absolut mit einem schlechten Bett ausgestattet man kann darauf nicht schlafen auch wenn uns die Vermieter nach Bitten eine dickere Matratze gegeben haben , hängt man durch und dies ist keine Urlaubserholung. Eher eine Pritsche als ein Bett. Achtung das Pool!!!!!!!!! - ist nicht im Preis inbegriffen und kostet horrent -wird nicht vom Vermieter angeboten sondern von einer 300 m entfernten Osteria - der Vermieter wollte mir auf Anfrage keinen Preis nicht nennen - Vor Ort wurde uns ein Preis von dieser externen Osteria für unsere 4 Personen für 2 Wochen von mehreren hunderten Euro genannt - am Pool ist es sehr laut, es wird dort laute Musik gespielt ohne Rücksicht ob es gefällt oder nicht. - wir durften nur 1 Schirm , 2 Liegen und 2 Stühle mit Not benutzen Achtung kein Internet im Haus - wir buchten das Haus mit Internet , so war es ausgeschrieben -als wir am 3.8.20 ankamen sagten uns die Vermieter das es gar kein Internet gibt und dies ein Versehen ist - wir buchten extra so. weil wir weit weg vom Strand sind und dann wenigstens für unsere Teens Netz haben - wurde dann am gleichen Tag von der Homepage gelöscht Als Ausgleich sollten wir den Pool umsonst benutzen können - das wollten die Vermieter organisieren für uns 4 -als wir dann zum Pool kamen sagte uns der Poolbesitzer das wir nur für 2 Personen einen Liegeplatz haben Wäschetausch verweigert - als wir dann die Vermieter zu Rede stellten am Tag wo wir neue Bettwäsche und Handtücher bekommen sollten war der Eklat -die Vermieter wollten sich nicht mit dem Poolbesitzer in Verbindung setzen um zu Ihren Wort zu stehen -sie nahmen die neue Bettwäsche und Handtücher einfach wieder mit und liesen uns im Stich und standen nicht zu Ihrer Abmachung //Für uns unerklärbar wie diese Vermieter Premiumpartner wurden bei FEWO//

Vorab - jederzeit gerne wieder! Sehr netter Empfang durch Lidia (die sehr gut englisch spricht) und Paolo. Toll gelegenes Häuschen in ruhiger Anlage welches mit allem Ausgestattet ist was nötig ist. Die Beschreibung bei FeWo ist zutreffend. Haus und Garten noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Man findet immer ein schattiges oder sonniges ruhiges Plätzchen. Zur Erfrischung ist der zu Fuß in fünf Minuten erreichbare Pool sehr empfehlenswert- sehr nettes Personal und unglaubliche Aussicht - fast INFINITY Pool ;-) mit ca 25 x 10 m. Sehr zu empfehlen! Auf der kurvigen Straße ist man in ca. 30 Minuten am Meer mit tollen Stränden. Durch die etwas erhöhte Lage hatten wir immer angenehme Temperaturen-auch Nachts. In den Nachbarorten Sassetta oder Monteverdi Marittimo kann man in sehr schönen kleinen Läden alles Notwendige einkaufen. Tolle Städte wie Volterra, San Vincenzo, Grosseto Massa Marittima oder Livorno sind empfehlenswerte Ausflugsziele. Danke Lidia und Paolo für einen schönen Urlaub.

Wir waren 4 Wochen (Mai - Juni) als junge Familie während meiner Elternzeit in dem Ferienhaus und haben es sehr genossen. Es ist sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Haus und Garten sind sehr gepflegt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Ferienhaus liegt etwas abseits in einer kleinen Ferienhaussiedlung auf einem Hügel direkt am Wald. Es gab lediglich einen Wermutstropfen: Aufgrund der Straßenverhältnisse relativ lange Fahrzeiten. Wer wirklich auf Barrierefreiheit angewiesen ist, wird mit hügeliger Landschaft und einem recht kleinen (ohne Rollstuhl vollkommen ausreichenden) Bad konfrontiert. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder hinfahren.

In der zweiten Septemberhälfte verbrachten wir ruhige und erholsame Tage in Paolos und Lidias gemütlichem und liebevoll gepflegtem Häuschen. Da wir bereits in der Woche zuvor die Gegend erkundet hatten, wollten wir dort hauptsächlich entspannen. Schade fanden wir, dass für Osteria und Pool im Komplex bereits Saisonschluss und an langen Abenden kein dt. oder engl TV Sender verfügbar war. So lernten wir die kleinen und feinen Restaurants der umliegenden Bergdörfer kennen .... auch zum Meer ist es nicht weit und die wunderschöne (in diesem Jahr leider etwas trockene!) Gegend laden zum Wandern und Entdecken ein. Arrividerci und liebe Grüße an Lidia und Paolo. lädt zum Wandern ein.

We hebben een hele leuke vakantie gehad in Toscane. Het huisje in Monteverdi ligt mooi centraal om van daaruit naar de steden Volterra (+/-30 km) , Siena (+/- 100 km), Pisa (+/- 90 km), Firenze (+/-120km), ... te gaan. Ook het strand (+/- 20km) in Donoratica is een hele aangename plek om te genieten van zon, zee en strand. In de buurt bevinden zich vele olijfboomgaarden en wijngaarden. In het nabij gelegen dorpje Castagneto Carducci heb je een prachtig uitzicht op deze plantages. Omdat het huisje meer dan 400 meter boven de zeespiegel ligt is de temperatuur er altijd koeler dan aan de zee en dat is 's nachts leuk meegenomen. Op het domein waar het huisje zich bevindt is er een heel mooi zwembad met een prachtig uitzicht. Dit wordt privé uitgebaat en moet je wel betalen . Hiervoor krijg je ook wel ligbedden en parasols ter beschikking. De eigenaars van het huisje (Paolo en Lidia) zijn hele vriendelijke mensen die vrij goed Frans en Engels kunnen praten. Het huisje was heel proper met frisse lakens en zeker voorzien van genoeg handdoeken. De BBQ met hout vonden we een topper.

Jeg og min familie boede en uge i juli 2017 i dette hus i bjergene ved den lille toscanske by Monteverdi. Dejligt hus, fuldstændig fred og ro, smuk udsigt og rigtigt gode og billige restauranter i nærheden. En oplevelse af det autentiske Italien. Una casa bellisima, restauranti buoni, silencio e natura bella. My family and I had a great week in this nice house in the mountains. Das Ferienhaus ist ruhig, sonnig gelegen mit viel Umschwung, zum Teil Wald. Für Ruhesuchende ideal. Super war der Grill, mit gratis zur Verfügung gestelltem Holz. Die lokale persönliche Einrichtung hat uns gut gefallen, die Einrichtung ist eher einfach. Die Besitzer Lidia und Paolo waren unkompliziert und freundlich. Das schöne Schwimmbad mit Blick ins Tal ist in 5 Fussminuten erreichbar.

The cottage is in a lovely place, very quite, with a big garden plus barbecue. The inside is cosy and very clean, beds are confortable provided by good linen. Paolo and Lidia are very gentle and helpfull. Nearby you can reach interesting cities, Bolgheri Volterra Populonia. You can quickly reach beautifull beaches. Realy a place to go!

Cette maison est le petit paradis des charmants propriétaires, mis à notre disposition. Tout est en oeuvre pour que le séjour soit optimum (accueil, propreté, équipement, conseils). Le retrait de la résidence dans les hauteurs de Donoratico permet d'avoir une température agréable. Un établissement de la résidence disposant d'une piscine et d'un restaurant est un plus. Je recommande cette location à proximité de la mer (San Vincenzo, Baratti, Populonia) mais aussi de villes et villages comme Pise, Volterra, Bolgheri ou Castagneto Carducci. Encore merci aux propriétaires pour nous avoir fait partager ce havre de paix deux semaines durant.

Ho avuto l'opportunità di soggiornare un week-end nella villetta di Paolo e Lidia e , visto il periodo , il tempo è stato ottimo. La presentazione dei proprietari risponde a pieno alla realtà. Posti di interesse culturali molto vicini come del resto il mare. Il posto è immerso nella collina e si presta molto bene anche a passeggiate a piedi, stupendo. La villetta è pulitissima e arredata con cura.Mi sono riproposta di tornare a giugno quando alla bellezza del posto si somma la magia delle sere illuminate dalle lucciole. Tania

OTTIMA SISTEMAZIONE

La villetta è dislocata in un'ottima posizione che consente di visitare l'entroterra così come il litorale. E' tranquilla, immersa nel verde, circondata da un bellissimo giardino con utilissimo barbecue. La casa è molto pulita e ben arredata, dotata di tutti i comfort. I proprietari Lidia e Paolo sono molto simpatici, gentili, disponibili ed accoglienti. Soluzione consigliatissima.

The house is beautiful, the owners are friendly and professional, the surroundings are so nice! The sea is very easy to reach and the woods are all around the house. From there I also visited nice cities (Bolgheri, Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa). I'll come again here very soon.
