About this apartment rental
The charm of "La perla marina" comes from the refined and harmonious combination of modern style furnishings and carefully preserved antique elements such as ceramic flooring and exposed wooden beams faithfully embodying all Mediterranean elegance.
The 45 sqm apartment is located on the third floor of a historic building from the 1700s built in the center of the ancient fishing village in what is today the main square of Marina di Vietri. It is 50 meters from the sea and consists of a bathroom with shower, an open mezzanine with a double sofa bed, a bedroom with a king size double bed, a living room with kitchenette complete with a large table with chairs and a small terrace. It is equipped with all comforts such as 24/24 wireless internet connection and air conditioning. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, glasses, cutlery, oven, washing machine and fridge.
Interaction with guests
During the entire duration of the stay, I (Vittoria) or my mother Rosa will be at your disposal for any type of request or advice on how to plan your holiday in the best way. On request, moreover, you can take advantage of the pick-up service at the station. Salerno or Naples airport with highly competitive prices.
Neighborhood overview
The strategic position of Vietri allows the guest to reach the places of greatest tourist interest in less time than in other towns on the coast. It is in fact possible to reach the excavations of Pompeii and Herculaneum in half an hour, the temples of Paestum in an hour and the royal palace of Caserta in half an hour. Amalfi and Ravello can be reached in an hour and it is possible to take the highway that leads to Capodichino airport in Vietri. At the port of Salerno, fifteen minutes from Vietri, there are sea connections to Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento, Capri, Ischia but also to the Cilento coast.
How to move
In the same square where the apartment is located you can find bars, restaurants and pizzerias but also grocery and tobacconist shops. In order to reach the other coastal towns, Salerno, Naples and other tourist locations, you need to go to Vietri which is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride.

As soon as you enter you will be immediately enveloped by the light and carefree atmosphere typical of the coast that will accompany you throughout the duration of your unforgettable stay. Vietri, a typical coastal town, is nicknamed "the first pearl" as it represents the gateway to the only and unforgettable paradise of the Amalfi coast. This village, a World Heritage Site since 1997 together with the Amalfi Coast, is known worldwide for its ceramics whose production dates back to 1600. Its enamels and decorations contain all the colors of the Amalfi coast: the deep blue of the sea, the bright green of Mediterranean vegetation and the golden orange of citrus fruits.

We loved our visit to Vietri. It is much quieter than Amalfi this time of year. Our hosts, Vittoria and Francesco, we're incredibly helpful and responsive. Couldn't ask for better. Thank you for letting us stay.
