Nice comfy nights in a peaceful place

- very nice and friendly owner - peaceful and beautiful surroundings - rustic and nicely organized apartment - beautiful well as a table in the kitchen - very comfortable bed with nice hard materace (our preference) - it is warm inside, the heating does a good job - a lot of space for a small child to crawl around - located in a amazing mountain valley very close to Bouillon

- lack of dishwasher (only minus if you use it 3x a day like us :) - for us it was perfectly fine but the house is not for people who are close to 2 m tall, the ceilings are low, it is a very old building - the bathroom is narrow but also modern and comfy enough

Cosy and comfortable little house, the caracter of the original building has been kept and there are some nice features from the past, still with everything you expect in a modern house. Kitchen very well furnished, good shower and comfortable bed. Pet friendly. The private and enclosed terrace is a plus point. Very friendly host.

I would change the layout of the sofas, placing them in a L shape. This is not a negative point, since they are comfortable anyway, just my personal opinion.

Wonderful!

Delicious breakfast including omelette, fresh fruit salad, fresh, fruit juice, dainty home made mini dessert. Very welcoming hosts, tranquil and authentic little village, walks possible directly from the village. Dog was very welcome.

Good place for exploring the Ardennes, with character.

Location was great although constant 'strimming' from neighbours was rather irritating. Shower was fabulous, and building had lots of character. Host admitted it could do with smartening up but we liked the rustic nature. Well equipped kitchen. Loved the area.

Outside space was potentially lovely but no view from terrace, and chairs were uncomfortable. Cushions would have improved them. Plus noise from neighbours constant strimming made sitting outside not as relaxing as we had hoped.

La propriétaire est charmante et vous fait un très bon accueil. Logement atypique que nous avons adoré. Bien équipé et situé dans un cadre verdoyant. Parking privé appréciable ainsi que la petite terrasse.

Prettig verblijf

Mooie authentieke accommodatie. Je verblijft in een omgebouwde stal, ze hebben de oude put en voederbak laten zitten, erg leuk! De kinderen slapen op een klein voorzoldertje wat ze geweldig vonden. Je hebt een eigen ingang (gescheiden van de B&B, deze ligt links vd woning, vakantiehuis rechts) Vriendelijke gastvrouw. De kinderen mochten ook aan de B&B kant in de speeltuin spelen. Erg prettig verblijf!

Er was veel ruimte. Alles was aanwezig.

De ligging vond ik niet ideaal. Dohan ligt zo'n 10 km van Bouillon en ik dacht dat het dichter bij de stad lag.

Eigen parking aan de deur. Makkelijk te bereiken. Vriendelijke eigenaars. De Gîte is heel authentiek, wat al een beleving op zich is.
