Grandmother's House has a history dating back to over 100 years. The whole state compreende the main house, where Elizabeth, the villa's owner, has in September her residence, the Upper House (Up House), The Wooden House (Wood House) The White House (White House) The Backyard House (House of Fund) and The Tree House (Tree House) ..
Vale da Silva Villas, where the houses are located, is set in the beautiful rural farm area 15 minutes from the city of Aveiro, known to the Venice of Portugal, where you can enjoy gondola trips through its various straits.
Aveiro offers Numerous activities alongside its stunning sandy beaches such as surfing, kite surfing, sailing and fitness. Also it has a great night life and shopping areas such as Forum Aveiro in September above one of the main channels of the city.
The city of Aveiro is Also a short drive to the wine regions of Bairrada and Douro, known worldwide for its Port wine.
Each house can accommodate from 4 to 6 people and is fully equipped, apart from the Tree House que only accommodates two people. All guests have access to a pool and stables commune.
The spaces are ideal for holidays and weekends.
We have created a restful retreat, so you can feel as in your home away from home whilst on holidays in Portugal.
We have 3 dogs que are not in contact with the guests, 6 cats, goats, turtles, horses ....
UP HOUSE (The Upper House)
Up House (The Upper House) has one double bedroom; fully equipped kitchen with fridge, dish washer, a glass-ceramic hob; fully furnished and spacious living-room with one sofa-bed, cable TV and fireplace for cold winter days; outside patio with pergola. Guests in this house have access to the pool area.
