The staff, location and amenities were top notch. Every restaurant experience was fantastic and we loved the walkability to all things both in Santa Cruz and La Crucecita. We would definitely recommend this hotel or stay there again.

Loved Quinta Bella!

We loved Quinta Bella! This is a lovely boutique hotel. Rooms are a good size and nicely decorated. Air conditioning worked well and there was a ceiling fan in the room too. The staff were all friendly, and helpful. Our room was kept sparkling clean by the amazing Petra! We had a garden view room. The only suggestion for the garden view rooms would be to have some towel racks or hooks added to the bathroom or the balcony. Our friends in the ocean view rooms had them. Lots of wet clothes to hang! Coffee and bottled water are supplied daily. Two pools are well kept and recently refurbished. Lots of chairs on deck or at beach level. Kudos to the staff who kept us fed and watered all day as we soaked up the sun. Beach is good. It has become quite steep, and red flags are out all the time, but many people were in the water on calm days. Probably too much for small kids though. Restaurants are all 10/10. You can pay by tap, card, cash or sign to room anywhere on property. It is a three block walk to the supermarket and about a 20-25 minute walk to the town square. Taxi to town square takes about 5 minutes. Very reasonably taxi prices. There is one small elevator on the property. Fits two with luggage. We really enjoyed our two week stay and will definitely return.

Wifi was the worst we have experienced in a long time. We were in a garden view room. Our friends in an ocean view room had only slightly better connection. We asked at front desk and they said the entire “area” had bad service and there was nothing they could do. Did not matter what time of day, or in the middle of the night…it was sketchy. Only other suggestion would be to add hand rails to all your staircases. Would be very useful and much safer.

Nice enough but lacking what I would consider as essential room amenities.

Nicely situated - 20 minute walk or 40mxn taxi to La Crucecita to the north and Santa Cruz Harbor area to the west. 5 minute walk to Chedraui supermarket to the north. On site restaurants are good.

No refrigerator, no ice machine and only two tiny tea cups in the room.

A great 4 day stay. The hotel was close to how we had imagined it to be from online images and info

Good choice of varied resturants all on site. The meals/drinks we had were excellent. Rooms facing mountainside good for peacefulness and bird watching. The QB feels private and safe being located at the end of Chahue Beach. We also felt the hotel was not too big, was well laid out and well run. The unimpressive lobby area belies the rest of the hotel. Easy 15 min walk into La Crucecita or a bit further to Santa Cruz area.

Liked pretty well everything. The poolside drinks/food prices were a bit high, so too tours and taxis arranged through the hotel.

Fanstastic peaceful stay!!

I was so happy with my choice to book here, it was just what I was looking for. It had a great vibe, friendly but quiet, and not too busy. Right on a super private, quiet, swimmable beach. The restaurants onsite were all fantastic. Room matched the photos. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It’s an older property, but they take care of it and maintain it. There was music by the pool, but it wasn’t too loud which I appreciated. My only complaint is that there should be fridges in the room. Wifi in the rooms also wasn’t great, but not a big deal.

Bedroom was basic, deck had 0 privacy Desk staff provided incorrect information regarding yoga, yoga mat fell apart, yoga instructor noted she had told front desk staff mats were very bad condition. Incorrect time provided for class & how to access mats so we missed the beginning of the class which an important part No glasses in room yet a wine bottle to purchase was available Room service was appalling, abrupt & slow

Great location on a beautiful beach and close to town. Wonderful/friendly staff and 6 delicious restaurants to choose from onsite. Great views from our room and some of the restaurants.

There was construction to the pool closest to the beach as well as some rooms which was a little loud. The rooms are clean but could use some updating. And there was unfortunately a peculiar smell coming from our toilet.

Nice 5 days on the beach!

Pool was great but at times there were two entirely different music/songs playing in adjoining restaurants or singers on beach which made it hard to enjoy either one. The evening entertainment was great with salsa on the beach! Hector and Eric in the outdoor bar were super great servers! Attentive but never pushy. Absolutely loved Hugo in the main outdoor upstairs restaurant. Very informative and nice The OTTO Restaurant was absolutely AMAZING!!!! Highly recommend for dinner.

Disappointed with the actual bedroom - although it appears they are remodeling others on our floor. Need new pillows and towels and the room was very basic with outdated furniture that was in very bad shape. I guess they charged the high daily rate because of the pool and beach access; but do not come to the Chahue beach if you are a swimmer because the inlet does not allow for swimming but it is great for walking in the morning and evening!

I stayed at this hotel expecting a relaxing vacation, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I specifically asked twice for blackout curtains, and despite following up, they were never installed (they said they would install the next day) nor was I offered any alternative. This might seem like a small detail, but if you're hoping to sleep in during your holiday, it's a big issue. The room lets in a lot of sunlight, and by 6:00 a.m., it's bright enough to wake you up. If rest and sleep are important to your stay, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The lack of response and follow-through from staff was disappointing. The beach is definitely not suitable for swimming, especially if you have kids.

The location close to the beach.

I booked a room with a Mountain View and was placed in a room with a view of the parking lot (no mountain in sight). After bringing this up to the staff - they tried to justify this by saying our room was “categorically” in their system as a Mountain View room…. They refused to make up for it by providing some sort of voucher for a drink, or a meal. This hotel is rated as a 5 star hotel on google, it is most definitely not. There was construction everywhere around the property. The gym equipment looked like it was all falling apart, electrical cords running over the equipment, it felt like an accident waiting to happen and hazardous. We were excited to eat breakfast in one of their breakfast restaurants with a view of the ocean and we were told that it was bought out for a private party. The staff was, over all, very rude and not accommodating. The best part was the proximity to the beautiful beach.

Even though renovations and construction was going on, the quiet room that we asked for was quiet at the end of each work day. Loved the pools and the staff were wonderful. All of the restaurants surpassed our expectations.

Given the heat and humidity, a small fridge in the room would have been helpful.

The staff at the hotel were amazing! From the front desk to the consierge to the meseros by the pool to the room staff. I was taken care of very well in every way.

The room service - food specifically- is terrible. It is a set menu and there is no wiggle room at all. The restaurants do not have room service and in general no “to go” either. In that I was disappointed. I hope they change this and offer room service from the restaurants.

Well, my chicken, was supposed to be at 3 o’clock and I wasn’t ready until 4:30pm and it was missing soap, towels and it was made up as a hurry up, not a good start Also, I used the watch laundry service and come back staying, possible wash color with white and mess up some white items

Overall a good stay at Quinta Bella

We loved the location, the views, the number of restaurants, and the pools. We also enjoyed several breakfasts at Marea and the Pizza al Pastor from Forno. We loved the poolside attendants and the live music on the beach. The waiters and poolside attendants were kind to ask about allergies. This was awesome as I appear to have very recently become allergic to limes.

The room & bathroom weren't as ample as we'd like. We didn't love Aroma or Rustico nor the Pescadillas at Marea, and we thought that the dinner prices weren't in line with the quality. Meaning we felt things were priced higher than the execution of certain dishes.

This is our third stay at this property. We love it! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. You feel like a guest but you feel like family too! Juan, our server at the pool for a few days was outstanding. Very friendly, attentive, and hospitable. Nico was also great! The food at this hotel is wonderful! We also tried Otto. The atmosphere and service as well as the attention to detail was amazing. I'm not sure who the female wait staff was on 5/11/23 but she was also outstanding. I work at a high end resort in the San Diego California area and was highly impressed by so many things this quaint resort delivers in excellence! The new improvements are a great addition to the resort. The older rooms with the dipping pools can use some upgrading but other than that...this place makes you feel like family and we will keep coming back!!

Very dissatisfied with our room, false advertising.

Staff at restaurants were amazing , very nice personalities and very helpful. Pools were clean, however need updating. Daily night beach activities were fun and unique. Spa staff was very nice ! Security guard was great! We forgot our key in the doorknob one night , and he knocked on our door to wake us and get it .

We didn’t get the ocean view room that I payed for !!! When I asked the front desk, she said they were at capacity and couldn’t change it. She said her manager was out to lunch and to come back in an hour. She said our first floor room had a partial ocean view. That’s false, it’s obstructed by tall greenery, which should be removed from all first floor patios. I payed for an ocean view and didn’t get it! Extremely disappointed! False advertising, I will never go back and I will tell all my friends and family NOT to stay there. Other people staying there , shared the same disappointment about their stay.
