    We stayed in Bungalow 8. The photos did NOT do this justice. The TV and living area has been updated and is very cosy. Our first impression as we walked through the door was WOW! So much thought was put into the design of the bungalow. The room truly was the centrepiece, we appreciated the art on the walls and the engraving in the wood and we enjoyed the bath and hammock on the balcony. From the time of booking (which was only 4 hours before check in) Lisa was amazing. She messaged me within 10 minutes of booking with the code for the gates. She was very responsive. I had a lot of questions and went back and forth between wanting to change rooms and she was so accomodating. I have stayed in many air bnbs and hotels and have never had someone so attentive. She stayed later than the latest check in time of 9pm as I was running a little late. They also have an outdoor group area. We utilised this and were provided fire wood to light a fire and played a couple of games of pool. My partner went fishing down at the lake and we saw so many fish jumping around. The retreat has lots of friendly kangaroos and wildlife. 100/10 would recommend to couples looking for a quiet place to wind down for the weekend. We will be back for sure!
