Amalthea is a self-contained house recently renovated located in the center, behind the theater Politeama and within walking distance from Via Roma, Via Ruggero Settimo and Teatro Massimo.
Its comfortable and privileged position, a few meters from the port, from the bus station to and from the airport, well connected to the main bus stops and the most prestigious shopping streets (Via Roma and Via Ruggero Settimo), will allow you to visit walking the city, and within minutes the old town and soak up the daily life and walking through the busiest streets.
The environment, refined and cozy, consists of a lovely garden, entirely at your disposal, where you can relax, a comfortable living room with TV and sofa bed, a spacious and elegant bedroom, kitchen and bathroom Shower.
All rooms are elegantly decorated and finished to the last detail, are equipped with heating, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels and final cleaning costs are included in the price.

This was a lovely, charming, clean and very comfortable apartment with a lovely patio. The apartment is centrally located, and you will find tons of great restaurants nearby. The host was very accommodating and very responsive. We highly recommend this apartment for your next visit to Palermo.

We planned a 3 night stay. Unfortunately, due to flight delays we arrived VERY late (1am). Stefania was there, to greet us and orient us to the property, despite the late hour! I cannot say enough about what a wonderful host she is! We arranged driver through her, who also stuck out the late arrival. We did her walking tour the next day. HIGHLY recommend. I learned so much and we saw beautiful sites of Palermo while get history of are. The apartment is right in the downtown area, close walking to many sites, but feels quiet and safe. Good locks! The private patio was a great place to have a glass of wine at night or coffee in am. Kitchen was clean, tidy. Great recommendations for restaurants. This is a great apartment to explore Palermo from. Thank you Stefania! I will always remember getting cannolis with you!!!

Very well appointed and comfortable apartment. Nice decor and modern facilities. Lovely terrasse. Very clean. The owner is very friendly and pointed us to all the best sites to see. Dangerously close to excellent ice-cream parlours and fabulous pasticceria 😊. The location is perfect to explore the city on foot. The bus from the airport stops 5 min walk away and there are also buses departing for the beautiful Mondello Beach and the open top sightseeing tours. Two of the main arteries of the city also start 5 min walk away and the neighbourhood is full of restaurants and bars as well as small shops to find bread, fruits and vegetables, wine and fresh fish.
