This opulent single storey stone cottage has a coastal country feel oozing charm, perfectly balanced with a contemporary ambience throughout. Guests are intrigued by the name, it is in fact named after the Long Nanny, a nearby stream. The accommodation was very comfortable and in a great location for visiting everything on our wish list. Everything was nicely kept and very clean and easy to navigate with helpful house notes. Our only comment would be a shortage of cutlery, particularly teaspoons and the shower head over the bath needs attention, but all in all a very lovely home from home.

Great location for walking to the playground and restaurants. Easy walk to the shop and not far to the beach. Lovely location, the children loved the sheep and cows as well as the visiting rabbits. Would definitely recommend and would hope to return.

We had a fantastic stay at Nanny End cottage. The gardens were well maintained with plenty of furniture providing different views across the garden and the orchard. The cottage was lovely and clean, it was well equipped providing a number of lovely extras including a chocolate fondue set. The cottage was within easy reach of a number of areas to visit including Holy Island and Bamburgh, these are well worth a visit.

We enjoyed our stay at Nanny End. The cottage was nicely furnished and quite cosy especially when the underfloor heating kicked in on the second day. The log burner was crucial in providing additional heat as the weather was really cold. It wasn't obvious from the details that the cottage was one of two. Fortunately, although there were several children and a dog next door at the time they didn't impact on our stay. The beds would have benefited from mattress toppers and the sofas were not especially comfortable, perhaps in need of replacement. The addition of blackout blinds in the main bedroom would have been useful. A nice cottage with an excellent location.
