About this chalet rental

Located in the tiny 19th Century village of Montroc at the end of the famous “Vallée de Chamonix”, yet only 5 minutes from Argentière and 15 minutes from the lights and bustle of Chamonix itself, our traditional 8 bedroom alpine chalet has everything you need for the complete vacance en montagne. After a full day on (or off) the piste, with a glass of wine in your hand, relax by the log-fire or in the oudoor hot-tub, and gaze out through our huge picture window, as the setting sun turns Mont-Blanc and the spires of the Chamonix Aiguilles from gold to rose-pink … until the first stars appear……

The chalet is really well equipped, we were a family of 13 from 6 to 72 and it had everything we needed. We loved the views, we loved the hot tub. The front room and the fire is cosy. The glitter ball and lights perfect for NYE!In 5 minutes you can be at La Tour and then ski back but you are also close to Argentiere (15) and Chamonix (25) so there is a huge area to ski/explore.Christophe, the owner, was responsive and helpful in the build up to our stay and Fred, the chalet manager, was on hand for all questions and helped with the washing machine, snow clearance and fondue lighting.All in all a wonderful chalet for a great group holiday.Thanks Christophe and Fred!

What a pleasure to wake up in the morning and enjoy splendid views of the Mont Blanc! The property has a perfect location up the Chamonix valley: you're within walking distance of the Le Tour lifts and right next to the bus stop that connects you to Argentière. An added bonus is that you can hear the nearby creek. The owner of the property made us feel home right away. He has a wealth of information of the region and provided us with valuable tips. Merci Christophe pour l'excellent séjour!

Absolutley amazing chalet with everything you need and more. The owners are helpful and will go out of their way to help you out. The hot tub outside with the view of Mont Blanc is a perfect way to spend your time relaxing.

Le chalet, qui a beaucoup de cachet, est spacieux et bien conçu pour les groupes. Les propriétaires M. et Mme Jomain sont très accueillants et veillent ce que le séjour sot idéal.

Une belle expérience
Le Chalet est charmant et possède une vue superbe sur le Mont Blanc. Très bien tenu, il est idéal pour les familles ou les groupes d'amis. Un sas à l'entrée permet de ranger ses affaires de ski et de faire sécher ses chaussures sur les aérateurs installées. Le jacuzzi toujours chaud est un vrai plus pour l'après ski, avec une vue imprenable. La terrasse qui prolonge la salle a manger est ensoleillée le midi. Le dortoir pour les enfants est magique, avec de nombreux livres et jouets, et un charme incroyable. Les propriétaires, très sympathiques, sont très à l'écoute et très disponibles, tout en étant discrets. On peut garer deux voitures près de la maison, en revanche il y a une petite montée qu'il faudra prendre avec des chaines/chaussettes si il a neigé. Un parking est dispo à 200m près de la gare si vous n'etes pas équipés. Nous recommandons !

Nous avons passé une semaine vraiment particulière dans ce chalet. Tout d'abord, un accueil vraiment chaleureux, un chalet très propre. Durant toute la semaine, Tiphaine et Christophe ont été à nos petits soins, sans pour autant être pesants. Disponibles à la moindre requête. Bien que nous étions 18, la disposition des pièces a permis à chacun d'être à l'aise, tant dans le salon qu'autour de la table. Le babyfoot et le la boule à facette (+ sono et projecteurs !) ont permis de créer de réels moments de convivialité et de rigolade entre des personnes qui ne se connaissaient pas toujours. Mais mon appréciation ne serait pas juste si je ne mentionnais pas l'atmosphère toute particulière de ce chalet (on se sent comme à la maison !), son balcon baigné de soleil, et sa vue inoubliable. Bref, des vacances comme on en rêve...
