About this house rental

Completely renovated, tasteful decoration, kitchen and bathroom with Salernes tiles, terracotta tiling, mezzanine bedroom and oak parquet, very quiet, in the heart of the village, near the Verdon gorges and the Lac de Holy Cross
possibility to postpone the stay if unable to come on the dates selected (depending on the possibilities of course) deposit 150 € returned at the end of the stay

Owner was great. Property was lovely. Clean fresh and quirky. Refreshing stay. Shame it was only for 1 night because the area is fantastic and the gorges are so beautiful they defy standard description.

Très charmant
Nous n’y avons passé qu’une nuit mais notre séjour était parfait si ce n’est la pluie qui a commencé plus tôt que prévu. Le petit duplex de Caroline est très bien située et vraiment charmant, il offre une belle vue sur les toits de Aiguines. Nous n’avons pas utilisé grand chose dans le duplex mais tout avait à l’air fonctionnel et le lit très confortable. Le clocher du village sonne toutes les heures et ne s’arrête qu’entre minuit et 6h du matin, j’ai dormi comme un bébé moi mais ma compagne n’a trouvé le sommeil qu’a Minuit, donc attention au sommeil léger. Nous avons pu rencontrer Caroline à notre départ, elle est fort sympathique. Nous avons visité Salles-sur-Verdon qui offre un belle accès au lac de st croix et Bauduen qui est un village magnifique. Pour le restaurant pas d’hésitation, l’Antidote tenu par un couple fort sympathique est excellent et leur tarte tatin une merveille. Pensez à bien lire les mails de Caroline et n’oubliez pas de prendre votre chéquier pour la caution :) J’ai mis 4 comme note uniquement parce que nous n’avons pas utilisé grand chose dans le duplex de par la durée de notre séjour mais je recommande fortement.

Loved the quiet location which was not too far from Moustier or the Verdon Grand Canyon. Think about the Canyon as this is like driving in Afghanistan. Not for the feint hearted.
