The holiday home "between sky and sea" by Antonietta Filangeri, enjoys a unique location adjacent to the castle, in the historic area of the country.
the peculiarity that distinguishes it from other houses consists of the traditional Sicilian character, for the care of the furniture, and the strategic position dominating the landscape without obstacles of the large terrace, which make it a sunny place to relax away from the kaos.
the house is located in the ancient village that is part of the castle, at number 16 of the homonymous Piazza Castello. It is accessed by a brick staircase and a small blue door.
'maisonette is on the second floor, an independent staircase, leads directly into the living room that disengages the two bedrooms, the kitchen and the bathroom recently renovated and adapted to comfort.
The double bedroom is cozy and has a desk, from the bed you have a very interesting view of the sea.
the bedroom has a bunk bed and overlooks the small courtyard of the square. and look towards Tusa mountain (600mt S. L.M.).
The house is small and cozy, but I said before, the real highlight is the panoramic terrace suspended between sea and sky, equipped with barbecue, deck chairs and umbrellas.
The position of the house allows you to reach the beach and the town of Castel di Tusa on foot.
In the village it is not necessary to use the car, it is easily reached on foot from the small railway station that connects it to Palermo and Messina. Castel di Tusa is located ¼ of an hour by train and close to the popular resort of Cefalu.

Sollen wir wirklich schreiben, wie schön es war? Blieben Wohnung und Ort nicht besser ein Geheimtipp?
Es hat einfach alles gestimmt: vom flexiblen ( wir waren 4 Stunden später als geplant!) und herzlichen Empfang, bis zur wunderschön eingerichteten Wohnung und natürlich die Terrasse samt Aussicht!
Es war fast ein wenig, wie bei jemandem zuhause seine Ferien zu verbringen - das haben wir sehr geschätzt.
Castel die Tusa ist ein KLEINER Ferienort, ohne Souvenirläden oder Animation. Dafür Kunst und Ruhe.
Um diese Jahreszeit hatten wir den Strand mit absolut klarem Wasser meist für uns alleine. Ein Ausflug in das Städtchen Tusa ( 9 Kilometer) ist auch sehr zu empfehlen.
Wir waren rundum glücklich und würden diese Wohnung allen empfehlen, die sich schöne und ruhige Ferien wünschen.
Wir sind mit dem Mietwagen von Catania angereist - doch in Castel di Tusa kann man auch mit dem Zug perfekte Ferien verbringen.

Wir haben mit unseren beiden Jungs (7 Jahre) 14 wunderbare Tage in Castel di Tusa verbracht. Die Lage der Wohnung ist fantastisch, liegt ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg zum Meer und von der nach Osten ausgerichteten Terrasse hat man einen einzigartigen Blick über den "Golf von Tusa". Die Qualität von Strand und Wasser ist nach unserer Einschätzung nicht zu übertreffen.
Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und es ist alles für eine Urlaubsaufenthalt vorhanden. Wir fanden die Wohnung in einem sauberen gepflegten Zustand vor. Die Wohnung liegt in einem Mehrparteienhaus, davon im 2.Stock.
Der Ort Castel di Tusa hat zur täglichen Versorgung alles was man im Urlaub benötigt. Bäcker, Supermercato sind am Ort vorhanden. Für den an sich kleinen Ort bietet es kulinarisch eigentlich eine sehr gute italienische Palette. Es lohnt sich aber die Nachspeise ex Restaurants einzunehmen. Die ansässigen Eisdielen, einmal an der Hauptstrasse und einmal am Strand, bieten eine reichhaltige sizilianische Dessert Auswahl.
Die Abwicklung mit dem Vermieter war völlig unproblematisch.
Wer einen entspannten, eindrucksvollen Urlaub verbringen will ist hier richtig.

Es ist eine sehr saubere und gepflegte Ferienwohnung, so wie sie beschrieben und auf den Bilder zu sehen ist. Hat zwei Schlafzimmer ein Elternzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und ein Kinderzimmer mit einem Stockbett (zwei Schlafmöglichkeiten).
Die Vermieterin Antonietta und Ihre Tochter Carolina sind sehr nette und hilfsbereite Kontakte.
Bei unserer Anreise (Samstags) war eine große Schale gefüllt mit Obst und Gemüse, ein frisches Brot, Wasser und paar Kleinigkeiten zum Kochen schon in der Wohnung vorhanden.
Das Highlight der Wohnung ist sicher der Balkon mit einer sehr sehr schönen Aussicht. Am Meer ist man in 5 - 10 geh Minuten, zum Bahnhof (wo auch die nächste und einzige Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist) 20 geh Minuten. Von dort aus fahren regelmäsig Züge Richtung Messina und Palermo (Cefalu). Um das Umland zu erkunden oder Ausflüge zu machen ist ein Auto unausweichlich.
So klein wie Castel di Tusa auch ist gibt doch einige Restaurants (alle zu Fuss erreichbar). Das Le Lampare direkt am Meer ist sehr zu empfehlen.
Ich würde diese Wohnung jedem weiter empfehlen und werde hier sicher irgendwann nochmal hin gehen. Es wahr ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

La vista è spettacolare, il balcone è una favola.
La casa è in centro e molto bella ma contiene troppi oggetti personali, molto belli, che potrebbero rompersi.
La casa è adatta per una famiglia con bambini ma non per due coppie. La seconda camera è piccolina e con due letti a castello.
Le stoviglie e il pentolame dovrebbero essere rinnovate, quelle da noi trovate erano parecchio usurate.
