Featuring a private pool along with elements of local architecture, it offers a fully equipped unit with free Wi-Fi.
Fitted with stone arches and 2 fireplaces, the traditionally furnished and decorated villa at Archodiko comes with air conditioning. It consists of 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 kitchens with stove and dining area, and 2 living rooms with satellite TV.
Guests may relax at the sun terrace with sun loungers by the pool or enjoy the BBQ facilities. A garden with grassy areas and trees is available.
Imbros Gorge is accessible within short walking distance while a tavern and a supermarket can be found 40 metres away. The beaches of Fragokastello are 7 km away and the town of Rethymno is 45 km away. Chania International Airport is 60 at a distance of 60 km.
It' s nice and quiet in Imbros, nice place for family holidays,a great spot, because you will need about half an hour to the northern and about the same time to southern coast of crete!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. The location is perfect in the mountains but not far from the coast for some beach time. The pool makes this a great place to hang out all day with a lovely couple of tavernas in walking distance. We had a great stay. The villa could just have done with a few basics such as oil and salt for cooking and some plastic cups for round the pool but that is the only criticism! It is great that there is a clean and towel change half way through your stay as well. ( We stayed for only a week).

Just the most lovely place to stay! The views and location in a quiet mountain village were amazing, listening to goat and sheep bells waking you up in the morning is amazing!
The people in the village are so friendly and helpful (especially Drosia Taverna) and the villa itself was fabulous. Cool inside and a constant temperature so nighttime was great for sleeping (fantastic beds!) and a beautiful outside space. It's also a great location for the beautiful beaches on the south of the island, but not too far from the big road along the top of the island.

The Villa has been tastefully restored to provide characterful, comfortable and spacious accommodation. Situated in the mountains, it can been cooler than the coast and the pool and outdoor areas are lovely for relaxing after mountain walks. There are some good local tavernas in the village and it's about 20 mins by car down to the beautiful and unspoilt south coast around Hora Skafion.

Lovely holiday at Imbros!
The house was perfect. Imbros is 800m high and a little bit off the coast but for us that was a clear benefit since it was not as hot. The gorge is worth a hike. The village has a few simple but very hospitable taverns.
And since the southern coast definitely is worth a trip we were already half way over the mountains...
Communication with Nikos and his team/family was very good.
I can only recommend this!
