About this house rental
This waterfront home is the perfect escape for a weekend or a longer break from the routine. Private and close to the undeveloped wilderness on the south east corner of 300 acre Saddle Lake, this property is perfectly situated for fantastic views of the lake in all of it's beauty. The wildlife, the fishing, the water sports and the sunsets offer wonderful memories-in-the-making for family or guests. Each upstairs bedroom is furnished with a full sized bed and a twin bed as well. The master bedroom downstairs has a queen size bed. Multiple ceiling fans and central heat and air provide for all the comfort of home.

Six of us rented this property to get out of the city for a weekend and enjoy the summer. We had a great time, and loved being right on a lake. The area was very quiet and you could stargaze from the yard. Having a kitchen made cooking meals for our group easy. It was also an easy drive into South Haven when we wanted to eat out.

The cottage was small but cute. Would have been nice to have a paddle boat or some way to access the small lake, but overall was a very nice stay. We enjoyed the stay very much!

The house was rustic with great views. Lots of towels, blankets, and linens. Great fire pit and swing. The dock was a little rickety and while it is water front, it is not swimable. We wound up going to the beach in South Haven. Overall great weekend.

My family and I stayed here at the end of the summer. Great lake and great location. Reasonably clean and plenty of room. Nothing fancy. Outside could be cleaned up a little. Great owner who was very nice and helpful.
