About this house rental
A charming, independent cottage . 2 double bedrooms 160cm and 140cm beds. Large south facing terrace with table and chairs and far reaching views of the countryside. Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, cafétiere, electric oven, ceramic hob and washing machine. Comfortable salon/dining room, HD LED TV, Bluetooth speaker, board games and many books on the area, its history and places of interest.
Free wifi.
Private parking . A perfect place to relax as a couple, with friends or with the family. You may see a car in the distance but you'll rarely hear it.
All linen and towels provided.
The house is five kilometers from Rabastens, in the Golden Triangle between Toulouse (35min), the Episcopal City of Albi - a Unesco world heritage site (25min) and Cordes-sur-Ciel (30 min). There are many walking paths and cycle and motorbike routes nearby ranging from easy to expert levels. The local attractions include the fortified villages of Lisle-sur-Tarn, Castelnau de Montmirail, Puycelsi and Cordes-sur-Ciel. Each village has a market day and is rich with local produce, shops and artisans. There are about one hundred local Gaillac aoc wine producers outside of the large wine cooperatives. Each of these wine growers produces wine which shows off the characteristics of their land. To appreciate the wines fully there is a "Wine Route" and it is possible to visit each wine-grower and taste their wines.

Que des points positifs pour cette location : propriétaires réactifs et disponibles en cas de besoin ; logement très propre et bien équipés ; très belle piscine ; logement bien situé ; Rien à redire ... c'était parfait !

Une très belle région où se mélangent superbes paysages, couleurs, odeurs.... une jolie maison au calme ou nous avons bénéficié d'un cadre splendide (des tournesols à perte de vue....) et d'une piscine plus qu'appréciable... de magnifiques villages à visiter aux alentours.... et des propriétaires très sympathiques !

Le gîte est propre, bien agencé et confortable. Terrasse agréable. L'accès à la piscine est facile et discret. La piscine est idéale pour la détente et la nage.

We loved the farm location out in the country with sunsets, lovely landscaping, quiet and peaceful surroundings. The hosts who live on the property, Katerina and Simon, were delightful, pleasant, helpful while also honoring our need for quiet and privacy. The location was near to Rabastens, Lisle Sur Tarn and Albi. It was a great starting point to visit the bastides that the area is known for. Visiting in May was perfect for avoiding tourists, mosquitoes and the heat of the summer months. A few amenities were lacking so we had to provide toilet paper, salt and pepper, garbage bags, cooking oil. But we were told later that "gites" typically do not provide those things.We were able to pick cherries on a neighboring tree. That was a treat!! A lovely place and would recommend it whole heartedly!
