Designer Beach House, West Mesa Beach Area 2 min walk to beach stairs

This is the second time we have stayed out this home. We are frequent visitors to Santa Barbara and the location of this home is outstanding. Amenities and restaurants are about 5 minutes by car. The beach and Douglas Preserve are a 5 minute walk. This home has lovely and serene outdoor areas in both front and back. Beds comfortable and linens high quality. This home has the best fire pit and the best fireplace of any home we have ever rented. It is Both are gas and give off real warmth. This is a grown up house and I, think, a house best suited for adults. White rugs, white furniture and a silk covered head board all require extra caution. There is an additional required weekly cleaning fee which is not included in the price. There were also taxes that did not appear in the final VRBO “ guaranteed “ total. Neither of these things would deter me from returning to this home. And, it should not deter you. It is worth it.

The house opens onto a wonderful backyard that makes the living space seem much larger. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and offers great indoor and outdoor dining options. The house was clean, comfortable and private. And being steps to the staircase down to the beach was an added bonus. A great place to stay whenever your plans bring you to Santa Barbara.

This home has a warm, organic, classy feel to it. Everything thing you need to cook, be comfortable and enjoy your time away from home is here. The Master Bedroom bed is so comfortable, with fabulous pillows and high quality bedding. Location is close to every where you might need to go in SB, or you can just stay home and cook in this fabulous gourmet kitchen that has “everything” you might need. Loved every minute and hated to leave.
