Wonderful stay in a fabulous hotel.

We loved this hotel, from the moment we arrived we were so well looked after. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. The room we had was lovely and spacious. It was also in an ideal location. The breakfast was so good.

Excellent stay!

Visited for a family celebration . Hotel was lovely and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All the rooms were of a high standard and very comfortable. Ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent and the staff very friendly.

We received a warm welcome and we were delighted with our deluxe room. The room was exquisitely decorated to a high standard, and this carried throughout the hotel.

We were surprised that the hotel was quiet, it seems to be a hidden gem.

Beautiful accommodation, wonderful staff, great food and at a reasonable price.

I liked everything. The decor throughout is tasteful. The premises are immaculately clean. Our bedroom was large, beautifully furnished and the bathroom was modern. All the staff we met were polite, courteous and friendly; they made us feel very welcome. Evening meal was fantastic and the breakfast is a good as any I have ever had.

Lovely hotel in a great location for touring the local area.

The reception rooms and orangery are lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great central location for touring.

It’s a truly impressive and beautiful building. My bedroom, on the second floor overlooking the entrance, was enormous and luxurious.

The dining room staff, especially at dinner, appeared to be brand new and/or minimally trained. They did not know a lot about the menu, had to repeatedly go ask a supervisor. Off-putting.

A peaceful and comfortable stay at a very good price

Stayed for a night attending a wedding nearby. The room was stunning and so comfy. Breakfast is made to order, with a nice range of healthy cooked options.

We didn’t realise until we went down in the morning that the breakfast was made to order and were in a bit of a hurry, but the food was served very quickly.

Overall a good stay

It was clean, perfectly decorated and felt cosy. Felt like a safe environment.

The difference in room size was quite significant given that we paid the same price for each. Both rooms were listed as deluxe double when one was clearly a ‘cosy double’ Service at meal times were quite slow and attitude of some of the staff wasn’t exactly pleasant at times.

Fantastic break away with my wife, this little hotel didn’t disappoint!

A small but very nice little hotel just down the road from Gleneagles. Staff were brilliant, the breakfast was spot on and we had dinner one night which was very nice also.

Nothing stands out although I think the WiFi could do with a bit of an upgrade.

A genuine gem !!!

This was our first stay at Cairn Lodge and both my good lady and I were very impressed by the instant warm, genuine welcoming and relaxed vibe from all staff. Great location, building is very well maintained, all decor very clean, fresh and tastefully done. There is a mix areas in which to sit and relax ranging from the excellent bar and lounge, large conservatory, garden restaurant or the garden terrace sun trap. Had dinner, plenty of wine and malt whisky with a few cheeky glasses of champagne added - all of which was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was equally tasty. Bedroom was first class, really comfy bed and great facilities. What makes this venue stand out were the staff, everyone friendly, professional and relaxed plus knowledgable about menu and drinks. This clearly filters from Eileen (Guest Relations Manager) who exudes energy, enthusiasm and a clear pride and passion for Cairn Lodge. If looking for a chilled and relaxing break, I definitely recommend and we will be back !!!! Thank you.

Nice, cozy, authentic Scottish hotel. A clear go-to-place.

Everything - we were so kind and well-hosted. Was a very unique experience. The food is also great (with an à la Carte-breakfast!) and there are many things to see and visit around (castles, hikes, distilleries,…).

A luvly anniversary treat

A fabulous 3 nite break for our silver wedding anniversary .. couldn't fault it , luvly staff a beautiful room good food. Will defo be back !
