The apartments is a lovely place situated right on the beach. There are a few restaurants just below. There is a little grocery shop around the corner. ivonne is a very pleasant person and helpful would recommended this apartment for a holiday and the hosts.

It was only about the view

It was only about the view

We arrived at the property after a very difficult transfer of keys - the owner's agent was a lovely person but did not speak any English. The address given by the owner, when put into Google Maps, took us to a totally different neighborhood upon arrival at Cullera. Initial impression was good as the view dominates. After 5 minutes of investigation we found an old tired apartment with wind blowing through the closed windows and one visible electric heater for the unit. Subsequently found an extra heater in the bedroom closet plus a small one in the bathroom but with 3 heaters on, the circuit breaker continued to take out the power. Could only have one heater on while cooking and one heater was not enough to keep the unit warm. Note that with two heaters on the apartment was about 14 degrees C. There was virtually not enough water pressure to the point of being unable to take a shower. Even washing your hands was difficult due to the almost non existent water pressure. The hot water tank would supply enough hot water to clean dishes but there was not much more available. We slept 1 very cold night at the apartment without showers and then had to rent another hotel room at the other end of the beach for the following 7 nights. We used this suite to cook a few meals and that was about all. Also upon arrival there were no basic supplies - not even any dish washing soap or trash bags - please - just charge a couple of extra Euros per night and provide some basic supplies. We actually left spices, dish soap and some dry goods when we left. The evening before departure, the owner's agent contacted us at 2220 hours to arrange collection of keys but as we had rented another hotel room in a different building and had to leave early in the morning, we had already checked out and had left both sets of keys in the suite. The agent was not happy but we told her that most rentals give instructions to leave all keys in the suite and to lock the door. The agent should have contacted us much sooner if she had wanted to collect the keys. All in all this was an expensive mistake and the only acceptable feature of this suite was the view.

A very pleasant stay in an elegant flat on the beach at Cullera. The location of the property is excellent. The photographs on Home Away show exactly what to expect. Very good communications with the owner and local manager. Be aware that French is the best language to communicate in (even mangled French works somehow.)

We were fortunate enough to stay here for 11 days in January. It's obviously a warm weather community, but we really enjoyed the community in the quiet of winter. Although it was the off season, we were able to eat out when we wanted, and shop for groceries, all within walking distance of the apartment. We walked the promenade or beach at least once a day, and found it to be relaxing, and beautiful. The weather was accommodating, and it was warm enough to sit on the balcony in the sun every day. The apartment is like the pictures. Comfortable, but nothing too fancy, which was fine for us. The kitchen was spacious, and had plenty of dishes, and glassware. The living room could use a small table, to have a place for a drink, or your book when you were sitting on the couch. I would also recommend adding a good, sharp knife to the kitchen supplies. We would definitely consider another stay here, especially in the off season.

Ubicación extraordinaria. Piso casi perfecto ... Pero el agua no tenia presión de forma que una ducha era tan larga como un baño. También los anclajes del toldo estaban demasiado oxidados y se atasco al sujetarlo. Amplia habitación de matrimonio y correcta segunda habitación de 2 camas. Cocina americana y amplio salón, muy cómodo. En la terraza solo un toldo que cubría la mitad de la terraza.

La atención de la persona que nos recibió excepcional, muy amable y dispuesta. El apartamento está bien dotado y con unas vistas maravillosas. Lo peor la presión de la ducha, a penas sale agua. Si viajas con niños menores de 2 años hay que tener mucho cuidado en la terraza, la barandilla tiene los barrotes muy separados y puede producirse un lamentable accidente.

Mooi en praktisch appartement aan het gezellige strand en de drukke boulevard van Cullera. Mooi uitzicht. Prive parkeerplek is heel fijn en noodzakelijk, net als de goede wifi. Wij hebben met ons gezin met 4 personen een fijne tijd gehad. Tot 30 graden met zeebries is het heerlijk vertoeven en hoef je alleen maar de ramen open te zetten. Met hogere temperaturen en zonder deze bries is het door gebrek aan airco onaangenaam heet en is het met de 2 aanwezige ventilatoren nog steeds zweten. In zo'n mooi appartement mag airco in deze tijd eigenlijk niet meer ontbreken. Ook zou het beter zijn als een tweede zonwering (scherm) aan de voorzijde zou worden geplaatst. Als je kiest voor de gezelligheid van de boulevard en strandtenten, dan moet je overigens ook genoegen nemen met het rumoer in de nacht. Het appartement is modern en in het algemeen in goede staat. Op kleinere punten was het appartement wel aan onderhoud toe. Dit betreft de wat lekkende wc-stortbak, de loshangende zekering van de zonwering aan de voorzijde, de rieten zonwering aan de achterzijde en de wat beperkte waterdruk. Verder is vermeldingswaardig dat veel restaurants en winkels, waaronder een bakker en supermarkt, zich op korte loopafstand van het appartement bevinden. De auto heb je dus eigenlijk alleen nodig voor leuke uitstapjes, zoals naar Valencia.

Nous avons passé 2 semaines superbes. L'appartement est au top et bien équipé. Il est situé en plein centre de la station balnéaire et la vue est exceptionnelle. Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer les propriétaires pendant notre séjour. Michel et Christelle sont vraiment très sympathiques. Un très grand merci à vous deux pour votre accueil et vos conseils sur les bons resto !

Appartement idéalement situé à proximité de tout commerce et donnant directement sur la plage. Vue magnifique à 180 degrés sur la grand plage de Cullera, avec une petite terrasse ou l'on peut manger car elle est à l'abri à partir de 13 H et le soir. Place de parking un peu juste pour une grande berline ou un SUV. Accueil sympathique du gérant pour la remise des clés, et appartement avec tout le confort pour passer 15 jours agréables. Communication avec le propriétaire efficace et très conviviale.

Cullera bietet eigentlich alles, was man als Urlauber (Familie mit 1 Kind in der Vorsaison) sucht: Ein wunderschöner breiter Sandstrand, klares Wasser, gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants, die auch ohne Auto zu erreichen sind. Die Wohnung war mit dem tollen Blick auf das Meer genau so, wie in den Bildern zu sehen war. Leider nicht zu sehen war die schlechte Küchenausstattung in der Wohnung und vor allem auch der Dreck. Der Kühlschrank war wirklich sehr unappetitlich, das Geschirr teilweise dreckig im Schrank. Zudem gab es kaum Wasserdruck, so dass duschen und Abwasch schwierig waren. Sehr positiv hingegen war die persönliche Betreuung durch Alain vor Ort, der sich wirklich für unsere Belange zuverlässig eingesetzt hat. Fazit: Wer geringere Reinlichkeitsansprüche hat, hat in dieser lichtdurchfluteten Wohnung eine günstige, strandnahe Unterkunft!
