Detached house with garden in Cala Liberotto - Orosei, 400 m from the sea

This was just a wonderful place to base our stay in Sardinia, with a patio overlooking the olive grove, with its smattering of lemon and fig trees. The beach is only a short walk away, with its little covers and sand. We deliberately went just before the season kicked in to avoid the crowd and the heat, so the weather wasn't really conducive to swimming, a lot of the restaurants were still preparing to open for the season, and the beach had not yet been cleared of the piles of sargassum that washed up, but it was a lovely little stretch of coast and I'll bet in the summer it's lively, with loads to do. Oresei is also a short drive away and well worth a look.Marina and Mario were wonderful hosts, Mario turning up to provide what we needed (a kettle, sheets for the spare room, etc). The house itself was great, spacious and clean and with pretty much anything we needed. There were a couple of quirks: there was hot water in the bathroom, but none in the kitchen at the other end of the house. Mario apologised when I asked him about it, and said he hoped to update that half of the house when we'd gone. The wi-fi is suitable for emails and browsing, but not so much for streaming, but we made do. All in all, though, a highly recommended place to stay -- quiet, comfortable and relaxing.The

From the first moment we enjoyed the peacefulness and beauty of the location. We found everything as described in the website. The rooms are spacious and the garden and terrace are inviting and ideal if your travelling with active kids. The house is located within walking distance to the local beach and village centre with its restaurants and supermarkets. And last but not least the owners were very nice, friendly and helpful. A special “Grazie” to Mario from the whole family.

questo è stato il nostro secondo soggiorno in questa proprietà. La prima volta nel 2021, e ci siamo trovati così a casa che abbiamo voluto ripetere l'esperienza in questa piacevolissima proprietà, ritrovando la stessa ottima ospitalità della Sig. Marina e del Sig. Mario. Un soggiorno sempre consigliatissimo!

Wir hatten zwei tolle Urlaubswochen mit unserer einjährigen Tochter. Die Strände sind in 10 Minuten zu Fuß super erreichbar und im Ort gibt es alles was man für einen Urlaub braucht 😊
