A well positioned location in the countryside of Kefalonia a short distance from the airport (12km) 15min drive to the island's capital of Argostoli and 1min drive to the port of Pessada (boat to Zante(0.4km) The surrounding area includes the historic St. Geroges Castle, secluded beaches(pessada beach 0.4km, 5min walking), several tavernas(0.5km taverna/kantina in port 10min walking) and the big supermarket is only 5km(LIDL, A/B,..10min drive)and a small mini market in pessada 0.8km.

The location was lovely and quiet with a pleasant small beach approx 10mins walk.
The owners were also very pleasant and helpful, responding quickly when we asked for the villa to be cleaned in addition to the linen and fresh towels, plus cleaning the pool which is what we expected for a luxury villa (particularly as we were there for 3 x weeks potentially with no cleaner or cleaning materials ) They also provided pool towels on request.
We enjoyed our stay but the owners need to rethink using the word 'luxury' as this meant that we were disappointed with the quality. The gym (one of the reasons we booked it) is completely unusable due to lack of ventilation and smell. The fully equipped kitchen is sadly lacking in equipment and has mismatched crockery and scarce cutlery which is surprising as the owners have a hotel. The outdoor furniture is also rather shabby with the exception of the sunbeds which seem new.
There were only 3 of us but it would not sleep more than 4 (2 x doubles). Some of the information on various websites about the villa is confusing as they mention a bath / microwave etc which there are not.
We love the Island and would stay near by again however not at this villa.
