Casa Azalea is an independent villa with a magnificent view of Lake Como and Lower Valtellina.
The house is comfortable and functional. It consists of two bedrooms, a complete bathroom, a dining room with adjoining kitchen, an enclosed garden and a private parking area.
In detail you will find a room with mountain view equipped with a double bed and a spacious wardrobe, and a bedroom with three single beds, of which a bunk bed and in addition a baby bed (available on request), with a splendid lake view .
The bunk bed can be dismantled and, upon request, form two single beds or a double bed.
The bathroom is complete and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a bidet and a fully enclosed shower. The kitchen is very large and fully equipped, it is in fact equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils sufficient for five place settings, dishwasher, a fridge with freezer compartment, a four burner stove with oven, microwave, American coffee machine and mocha coffee maker, toaster and juicer. Adjacent to the kitchen there is a bright dining room with a splendid lake view. There is also a relaxation corner with sofa, free Wifi, satellite TV and games for the little ones. From the corridor you will be able to access the washing machine and the closet containing everything needed for cleaning the house, and detergents for the washing machine,

The house is surrounded by a private fenced garden with a beautiful lake view equipped with garden furniture such as table and chairs for outdoor dining, umbrella and deck chairs for relaxing in the sun, charcoal barbecue and games for the little ones. Also near the house you will find a small vegetable garden where aromatic herbs such as sage, rosemary and basil are at your disposal. The private parking is adjacent to the house.

The beach, as well as the dining and entertainment venues, can be reached in less than 10 minutes on foot, and in a few minutes by car.
Cremia is an ideal starting point for excursions on foot or by mountain bike, but also for short and medium-long trips by car to famous Italian cities such as Como and Milan, or Swiss cities such as Lugano and Saint Moritz. In addition, from the Menaggio pier you can make beautiful boat and ferry trips to Piona, Tremezzo, Bellagio and Varenna, with the possibility of visiting important villas, churches and historic buildings. From Cremia beach it is possible to practice water sports such as swimming, kayaking, windsurfing and kitesurfing.
Nearby you can rent boats, jet skis and mountain bikes. There are also outdoor swimming pools and lidos, a tennis court, a famous golf and minigolf course, a gym, and an outdoor market.

Wir waren zwei Wochen im Casa Azalea in Cremia und haben noch nirgends so eine saubere Unterkunft bewohnt. Die Lage ist toll und das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Hervorzuheben ist die überaus gastfreundliche Familie, die in allen Lebenslagen zu Hilfe kommt. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen wieder. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub.

Gekozen voor het fantastische uitzicht op het Comomeer. Goed verzorgde en schone woning. Complete inventaris en een super hostess Gigliola, zij gaf ons meerdere tips voor ons verblijf.

Wir haben die Zeit im Casa Azalea sehr genossen. Der Empfang und die Betreuung durch die Besitzer war so herzlich, dass wir uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt haben. Die Unterkunft ist klasse, der Blick auf den See unschlagbar. Wir kommen hoffentlich bald wieder.

We were met at the ground floor apartment by Gigliola who is very warm and welcoming. There is lots of information on where to visit. A beautiful welcome pack had been prepared with enough food for a breakfast and dinner. Gigliola even passed us some home grown vegetables in the week.The apartment is clean, modern and well equipped, with everything you might need. There are basic supplies there, so you dont need to rush to the supermarket on day one. The kitchen is very modern and a pleasure to use. Parking is available near to the apartment.There is a nice garden at the front with sun for most of the day. There are plenty of loungers and even outdoor toys for children. We enjoyed eating some meals at the table overlooking the lake.A car is essential. The apartment is well placed to get to all the main places and to reach the ferry terminal in Menaggio for crossings. We managed to visit all the main places.There is a local shop further up hill and other supermarkets about fifteen minutes away by car.It is a fifteen minute walk down hillside steps or a quick drive to the lake and beach area which is lovely for a walk or sunbathing. There are a couple of nice restaurants and bars and others can be reached by car in ten minutes. Night life in Lake Como generally is low key.Gigliola is a lovely host. She lives close by and is always happy to give help, we thought she was a real people person but she was never intrusive.We would highly recommend this apartment if you visit Lake Como.
