We had a really nice stay at the Camp. Khalil his Brother was cooking really nice food for lunch and Dinner every day. The Breakfast was included. They also organized us a tour to the Desert with camels, where we stayed in a nomad camp for one night. That was a great experience! We enjoyed our stay at the Camp a lot and we had much fun with the cute kitten that was living there, by far the funniest little thing we have ever seen.

My stay with Khalil and a 4-day trip into the desert organized by him was not just the highlight of my trip to Morocco, but possibly the highlight of my last year traveling. What professional young gentlemen! I felt at home straight away and had my first good sleep in months. All the men around the house and my guides were like family and made sure I was well fed and looked after. Khalil was fantastic helping me organize travel to/from M'Hamid and trekking in the desert with the best local guides. It was a personalized, unique experience and great to get off the well-worn tourist track and support local entrepreneurs. If you want more information, send Khalil a message and ask for the link to his website and a great video made by a travel blogging couple who stayed with him. Thanks, Khalil!

We had a wonderful time with Khalil and his colleagues (Ali, Ibrahim). We spent the first night at Camp Lehoudi (near Mhamid), next to some small dunes, and enjoyed the sunset, authentic Maroccan / Berber cuisine and of course the impressive starry sky. The next morning, we were taken by 4x4 to an oasis on the way to Chegaga and spent the afternoon in the shade of the palm trees, relaxed and made contact with the inhabitants. After that, we went to the impressive dunes of Erg Chegaga, which makes you feel that you are in the middle of the Sahara. We did a short camel ride, once again very good food and spent the evening talking with Mohamed, who is a very friendly and attentive host and who gives you great ideas about Berber culture.
