About this apartment rental
The rural complex of Villa il Castellaccio, once a fully working farm, is set in a beautiful panoramic position in the heart of Chianti, between Florence, Siena and Arezzo . The apartments, all recently reconstructed from the original farm buildings are furnished in style and comfort with all mod-cons .They all have their own entrances on different sides of the complex giving each a sense of privacy. They share a big terrace with barbeque area and the main swimming-pool, but often it will seem like you are the only guests, it's always so peaceful and quiet !
Castellaccio 1 sleeps 5 and has: a dining room with fireplace, a well equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms with showers, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 single bedroom. This apartment is on the 1st floor and is reached by an external stairway. It is very luminous and has super views but does not have an immediate outside eating area though guests are welcome to use the dining facilities in the barbeque area.
Included in price: All household linen per week, Wi-Fi, electricity, hot water, gas for cooking,1 eventual baby-cot on request, parking.
Not included to pay on spot: Heating calculated on consumption Oct – March (approx Euro 2,50 per hour), Sojourn Tax: 2 euro per person per night for maximum of 7 nights and only for people over 14 years.
Also required at check-in (but not a cost) a security guarantee in CASH which is returned to you at end of stay: Euro 200

Incredibly comfortable, stunning views, and centrally located. Many windy roads, but got use to the commute from our Villa. Highly recommend! And thanks Leonardo for the tour of the many artifacts of the place. 1000 year old ruins! Incredible.

Everything was perfect. We stayed there 5 nights and really enjoyed our time. The views are amazing and the owner is extremely helpful.

The place is beautiful. Just in the heart of Chianti. The apartment is stunning with amazing view and Leonardo was there anytime we needed any advice or help. Great vacation, definitely will reccomend that place.

Castellaccio voldeed volkomen aan de verwachtingen. Prachtig gelegen in een schitterende omgeving. De tuin, het zwembad, de barbecue en pizza oven hadden voor ons en vooral onze (volwassen) kinderen veel meerwaarde. Een auto is noodzakelijk want de dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt ligt op 10 km afstand. In het dorpje Lucolena (2 km) is een klein winkeltje voor de basisboodschappen.Leonarda is een geweldige gastheer. Hij gaf ons veel tips en was erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Zijn wijnproeverij met informatie over het fabriceren van olijfolie en wijn is absoluut de moeite waard. Kortom: Il Castelaccio is een aanrader.
