Cottage surrounded by our organic vineyards and forests. Large private terrace. Shared secluded pool. Very well equipped. Well appointed. Calm. Large room: separate kitchen from the dining room by a bar. Living room with TV and two sofas (can be used as single bed). Then bedroom, antique wardrobe, double bed and mezzanine.
Linen and towels provided; Final cleaning included. Supplement for more than 3 people.

Beautiful area

Beautiful area

Very comfortable.Situated within walking distance of Vacqueyras (about 25mins)with access to a restaurant ,a lovely bakery ,a butchers and general shop.Wine from the vineyard is wonderful.Gigondas,a beautiful village is also within walking distance.Lots of interesting towns and villages to visit nearby and great walking country.

We visited for a week with our 9 year old daughter and absolutely loved the place !! It was the most relaxing holiday we have ever had.Very spacious accomodation in a very tranquil and private setting .Surrounded by fabulous views of the vineyards the gite contained everything we needed for a great holiday, it retains many original features. The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. Air conditioner in the lounge was brilliant and fans in the bedroom and kitchen were adequate.Our daughter slept in the lounge which is next to the bedroom and all the beds were very comfortable. Lovely hot water at all times. Decent Wifi connection and TV. The pool was a good size in a wonderful setting. Surrounded by lovely gardens and panoramic views only a few metres from the gite door. The pool is shared with the other smaller gite but most of the time we had the whole area to ourselves. Fabulous places to visit in the area Henri the owner and his staff gave us first class hospitality, they were very respectful of our privacy but always around if you needed them. Please make sure you try the wines and olive oil from the olive trees around the property !!! Merci beaucoup to Henri, Jean-Francois and Damiel for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable, we would not hesitate to return and highly recommend it. The Torres family

Excellent gîte!!

Ce gîte est idéalement placé en haut du coteau, les premiers voisins sont à au moins 500 m de la, ce qui garantit un très grand calme. Seul le bruit des cigales perturbe la quiétude du lieu. Le gîte est bien équipé et avec direct à la piscine. Henri le propriétaire ds lieux fait un excellent Vacqueyras bio et est toujours disponible pour vous conseiller une ballade, excursion,... Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et avons pu recharger nos batteries. Nous recommandons fortement

We had a wonderful, relaxing, peaceful stay at Chez Paula. It is close enough to the villages of Gigondas and Vacqueyras... but not to close, and that makes it an ideal home base for day trips and adventures in and around Vaucluse. Henri and his staff are available for questions and very helpful with suggestions but were never intrusive or bothersome. We would most definitely stay here again.

Das Objekt ist nicht leicht zu finden. Wir wurden nett begrüßt und uns wurde ein anderes Ferienhaus angeboten, da kleine Bauarbeiten beim Ferienhaus Paula erfolgten. Wir bekamen das Ferienhaus Bergines. Super Küche, gute Einrichtung, gute Lage. In 5 Minuten Entfernung lag ein Bäcker mit super Baguettes.

Die Sauberkeit bei der Ankunft war nicht gut. Etwas mehr persönliche Ansprache und Aufmerksamkeit durch den Vermieter wäre schön gewesen. Ansonsten eine schöne Wohnung.

Eine Ferienwohnung auf einem ökologisch betriebenen Weingut, weit genug entfernt vom Ort, wo es wirklich absolut ruhig ist. Der Wind war schon beeindruckend wie der Blick auf die Dentelles. Brennholz war genug da und zu Ostern auch nötig. Ein Ort, um den eigenen Alltag komplett zu vergessen und vorzüglichen Wein vom Winzer zu genießen.

I have spent many months over the years at Clos de Caveau. Chez Paula is very comfortable and fully equipped. The location is peaceful and beautiful and the owners delightful. Excellent cycling and hiking at your doorstep, it's a perfect spot to enjoy all Provence has to offer!

Das Gite ist liebevoll eingerichtet und verfügt über einen sonnigen Sitzplatz. Die Küche bietet alles was man/frau benötigt und das Bett war sehr bequem. Ausgezeichneten Bio-Wein gibt es direkt vor Ort, was will man mehr! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und die Reinigung bei der Abreise wurde übernommen, so machen Ferien Spass. Die Vermieter sind diskret, jedoch sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit und bieten auch Tipps für Ausflüge und Wanderungen an. Meine beiden Hunde fühlten sich wie im Paradies und durften sich frei auf dem Gelände bewegen. Direkt vom Gite aus gibt es schöne Spazier- und Rundwege durch die Weinberge, den Wald oder direkt nach Gigondas bzw. Vacqueyras. Wir haben den ruhigen und erholsamen Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

La location est très agréable , bien équipée, et décorée avec goût Le cadre est superbe (au milieu des vignes, à deux pas des Dentelles de Montmirail), à à l'écart donc très calme sans pour autant être loin de tout. Ce n'était pas l'objectif initial du séjour mais nous en avons profité pour déguster (sur place) le vin du propriétaire, que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Enfin, nous avons été très bien accueillis.

We came to Clos de Caveau, Gîte Paula, for working, but from the very moment of our arrival it was just joy and recreation. A well equipped spacious apartment in typical yet very tastefully arranged provence style. The kitchen has got all benefits of modern life e.g. a dishwasher. Very nice and cordial reception. And the mountains of the Dentelles in your backyard... just wonderful for taking a long walk, a deep breath and to leave the noise and pollution of the cities behind. Pour nos 30 ans de mariage, nous avons eu la joie de passer une semaine magnifique au très charmant gîte Chez Paula. Le propriétaire et le personnel sont très disponibles et à l'écoute de vos moindres interrogations ou besoins. Le gîte est situé sur un domaine viticole qui propose des vins exceptionnels. Des vacances où l'on oublie tout mais que nous ne sommes pas prêts d'oublier!!!

The location is wonderful -- green and secluded.It's at the end of a single-track road going up the valley among woods and vineyards. There is good walking all around, not too demanding, with magnificent views up in the Dentelles. Half an hour or so on an easy track takes you to Gigondas where the tourist office has a simple map of the paths. Good eating: Les Florets and L'Oustalet in Gigondas, the Hotel de Montmirail in Vacqueyras, and many more further afield. It's wine country. Henri's bottom-of-the-range Cotes du Rhone, Les Bateliers, is really good for a start. Chez Paula is comfortable. The photographs give you a good idea what to expect. There is always someone around to help, but you won't be bothered by them. The rooms are large, but can heat up in hot weather -- there are fans to keep you cool, and the pool is welcoming. The kitchen is well-equipped, but oldies may need a tutorial on how to turn the cooker on. Clean linen every week, and you don't have to clean the place yourself. That's really good. The whole area is worth visiting -- Vaison, Nyons, Bedoin, Malucene, Beaumes ... You can go into Avignon, of course, and down the Luberon or to Pont du Gard, but you don't need to go as far as that to enjoy this bit of France. .
