About this house rental

Our traditional cottage, listed in the historic heritage of Carnac, located in the Menec village, is close to Carnac-Ville ans its shops and from the beach (10mn by bike).

The quiet garden is surrounded by traditional stone walls and enjoys a sunny terrace and garden furniture.

The rental has a 3-star classification by the Morbihan Prefecture and by Gites de France since May 2013, and renewed in 2019 and 2024.

Free wifi is available.

The rental benefits from a very calm environment.

Sheets (24€ per person) and towels (12€ per person) are available on request

The accommodation was really excellent and we loved the location. The communications with the concierge were via phone. There was some confusion as the previous occupier had mistakenly removed the bed cover. This did not of itself matter, but on the question of bedding we had paid for linen and, admittedly from experience in England and Scotland, we would have expected the bed to be made up and a duvet cover to be provided, but appreciate that this is presumably not the practice elsewhere. In any event we located a duvet cover.

We were warmly welcomed by Edouard who showed us around his beautiful house. The house has a spacious ground floor, kitchen equipped with everything we needed for cooking, a cosy living room and the master bedroom. It remained very cool there even on hot summer days. Bedrooms upstairs were fine too. We enjoyed returning to the beautiful and quiet garden to relax after our trips. Perfect stay!

...and to enjoy. To discover. To live. In one word: perfect! Ker West is brilliant for travelling all over Morbihan, but also to marvel the megalithic sites right in front of the door. And the house is such a lovely place with all accomodations one can wish. For families with kids: a paradise - not at least because of the huge garden.

What a find this longere turned out to be. Beautiful house, well maintained, very comfortable, a well equipped kitchen and everything there you could need. There is a good sized garden and patio with table and chairs and a sun umbrella . Only a 5 minute walk away from the Pre History Museum and the Menec standing stones. The house is very quiet with little passing traffic and only a handful of houses around. The contact with the owners, Edouard and Patricia, was excellent, emails were answered very quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you both, D and D.

Ce séjour était tout simplement magnifique! Maison au calme avec jardin fleuri, proche des alignements, plage à 5min en voiture. Plusieurs jeux de société et d'extérieur sont à disposition. La maison est bien équipée. Nous y reviendrons!

La maison est accueillante, confortable et au calme, un peu à l'écart du centre ville, dans un hameau qui jouxte les alignements de mégalithes, avec des départs de sentiers tout près. Le jardin a beaucoup de charme et les repas sur la terrasse sont un plaisir. Le propriétaire, très gentil au téléphone, a fourni des indications très claires sur l'arrivée. Le seul bémol: après avoir fonctionné sans problème pendant 2 jours, le Wifi est devenu très capricieux.

Allez y les yeux fermés! La propriété est encore mieux que sur les photos, propreté parfaite, cuisine tres bien equipée "comme a la maison" mais aussi jeux de sociétés, d'exterieur, livres. Literie excellente. La maison est parfaitement au calme, dans un environnement tres agréable (le jardin est sublime), proche du centre. Mention particuliere pour la disponibilité et l'amabilité des propriétaires qui ont rendu notre sejour des plus agréable. Merci!

Location en tous points conformes à la description. Cuisine très bien équipée. Literie confortable. Très beau jardin, bien équipé également. Contact très aisé avec Édouard qui s’est assuré que le séjour se passait bien. Je recommande cette location, dans laquelle j’aurai plaisir à revenir.

Nous avons passé de fantastiques vacances dans cette belle maison. La maison est située dans un coin très tranquille de Carnac. Elle est spacieuse, la cuisine très bien équipée et le jardin très bien entretenu, parfait pour les enfants. Pleins jeux de société á disposition, ainsi que des guides touristiques. Prévoir quand même un bon anti-moustiques car ils sont nombreux la nuit ! Le propriétaire était très disponible et arrangeant tout au long du séjour.

Schönes, gemütliches und gut eingerichtetes Haus mit sehr hübschem Garten. Prima Lage für Ausflüge. Leider war nach unserer sehr langen Anreise (1100km), Ankunft abends kein Bett bezogen und auch sonst nichts bereit. Es war weder gelüftet noch Wasser, Strom oder der Kühlschrank eingeschaltet und in der Küche lagen noch schmutzige Putzlappen. Das ist nicht wirklich schlimm aber müsste nicht sein. Wir möchten unserem Vermieter keinen Vorwurf machen da er nicht vor Ort war aber eine Nachbarin die einem freundlich empfängt und nicht nur die Schlüssel aushändigt wäre sehr nett gewesen. Abgesehen davon würden wir das Haus absolut weiterempfehlen. Wir haben jedenfalls unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen.

Maison très agréable et surtout parfaitement équipée. Nous avons pu profiter de la cheminée lors des soirées plus fraîches. De quoi passer d'excellentes vacances en Bretagne. L'emplacement de la maison permet d'avoir accès au centre ville et à la plage très rapidement. Le propriétaire est très arrangeant et disponible. Équipement bébé parfait et literies de très bonne qualité.

Ik heb genoten van mijn verblijf in het knusse huisje 'Ker West' in het zeer rustige dorpje Ménec. Het terras van het huisje was ook een heerlijke plek om in het zonnetje te zitten tijdens de zonsondergang, met uitzicht op een prachtige natuur. De magische steencirkel en rijen menhirs zijn binnen een afstand van 100 meter te berijken voor een wandelingetje of bezoekje. De eigenaar van het huisje Edouard is goed te bereiken met vragen en heel behulpzaam! Peter

The place absolutely meets the promises made on the platform. It is located in an authentic and calm area of the city. The house is perfectly equipped, the kitchen brand-new, the garden is just beautiful and as well nice for kids to play. Last but not least the landlord is caring and easy to get a hold of. I absolutely recommend the place!
