About this house rental
*During September 2025 you can only book the big house, 4 bedrooms, 7 sleeps and 1 bathroom*. This property is perfect for a family that need separate area for friends or have a big family Or maybe you need you need a private area for grandparents or young adults. This property is our second home and it's located in an idyllic and child-friendly area in Norrtälje, Stockholm. Just 10 minutes by car you find Norrtälje with shops and restaurants.
The big house has 4 bedrooms and 1 loft, 7 beds and 7-9 sleeps. One bathroom.
The guesthouse ,that is self contained, have one room with 1 double bed, 1 loftbed for a small child, bathroom and kitchen. The houses is connected with a deck where you can come together for dinner and activities.
Some weeks, often during school holidays, every year it’s possible that the house will include our 2 cats which is very childfriendly and easy to take care of. During this weeks is not possible to bring own animals.
It's just a 5 minute walk to the ocean with a nice beach suitable for families and a football field next to it. It is just 45 minutes from Stockholm if you would like to explore for one day. You need to have a car to have a comfortable stay.
We are a family with 3 children, 15-17 years old so we have toys and an outside trampoline for that age but also for younger children.
We also have a couple of bikes, a canoe, simple fishing gear and lots of other things suitable for families.
One of the beds are in the loft area with stairs and here you find a king size bed but it's not full standing headroom.
In the garden you have different areas for dining, one with a roof. We have a large dining table for 10 or more both inside and outside.
We don't smoke and do not allow smoking inside.
We also have our main house in Stockholm available for rent so we have lot of experience taking care of quests.

We were an eclectic group of nine staying in the house and guest cottage. The property is gorgeous and has absolutely everything you could need. It's instantly relaxing and very comfortable. You can feel all the love that has gone into the property as soon as you walk through the door. The surrounding countryside and the beach nearby are breathtaking and all just an hour from central Stockholm. Thank you Therese.

We really enjoyed our stay. The two houses are even more beautiful than in the photos. Everything is very lovingly furnished, well thought out and just perfect for families with children. The property is huge, very well maintained and offers many opportunities to spend wonderful days. The communication with the owner was flawless, super reliable and more than friendly.

We had a perfect stay at Thereses Cottage. Therese gave us all necessary / useful information in advance. Unfortunately, we did not meet in person but she was always available for giving answers. The house is well equipped, enough dishes and tools in the kitchen. Thank you for all!

Beautiful house with large garden. We enjoyed our stay very much. It‘s very calm and the sea ist very close. Norrtälje is also a very nice town that can be reached by car in 10min.
