About this house rental

In a unique green setting, family house located in a terraced property clinging to the hillside, maintained with care by its owners. In a rare calm, you can enjoy an exceptional view of a very typical Cévennes valley while enjoying the swimming pool reserved only for your use and theirs. The house was renovated in 2010 in a country style where you can take your meals on a covered terrace nestled on the 1st floor with a breathtaking view over the valley. Nestled in a very quiet little hamlet, this place is an ideal place for healing and rest. It is also an excellent starting point for many walks or mountain biking, canoeing or swimming in a stream (3 and 7 km) or in the river (near the Tarn and Jonte gorges), the path from Stevenson to donkey rides, and typical regional village markets.
Half an hour away, beautiful tree climbing courses of all levels, from children to adults, but also bicycle rentals, classic or electric, and for the more athletic, via ferratta, caving or Canyoning routes are offered.

Eintauchen ins Besondere

Wir haben als zwei befreundete Paare das Besondere gesucht und gefunden. Unsere Vermieter haben hier ein naturnahes, großzügiges Gelände mit viel Liebe und spannenden Rückzugsmöglichkeiten geschaffen. Die überdachte Terrasse wird zum Wohnzimmer und der Pool ist mit Natursteinen umgeben. Jean Louis und Huguette wohnen auch dort, Privatheit ist immer gegeben. Der Kontakt war sehr angenehm und wir haben interessante Informationen über Land und Leute und tolle Tipps zu versteckten Badestellen und ähnliches bekommen. (mit handgezeichneten Wegweisern, supergenau) Danke dafür. Die Räume sind etwas im Haus verteilt, wir haben uns schnell damit angefreundet. Es ist eben kein Neubau, dafür aussergewöhnlich und individuell. Wer hier Urlaub macht, dem sollte das Autofahren auf den kleinen Hügelstrassen nichte ausmachen. Aber es ist so schön, dass man eh nicht jeden Tag los möchte. Danke für eine wunderbare Woche!

Perfekte Entspannung

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in Saint Martin bei Huguette und Jean-Louis Cornet verbracht. Wir hatten nach einer Unterkunft mit schöner Aussicht und einem Pool vor allem für die Kinder gesucht, damit wir Eltern auch mal zum Lesen etc. kommen. Wir waren positiv überrascht. Die Räume, die Matratzen und die Ausstattung waren prima, der Ausblick großartig und die Gastgeber sehr freundlich, angenehm und hilfsbereit. Wir haben viel Zeit auf der gemütlichen Terrasse mit tollem, freien Blick ins Tal verbracht und gespielt, im sehr gepflegten Pool gebadet oder haben auf einer/m der im Garten verteilten Bänke/Stühle gesessen und gelesen oder einfach die Stille und den Ausblick genossen, während die Kinder im Pool waren oder auf dem Gelände gespielt haben. Die Gegend ist toll, man kann super wandern, es gibt viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und im ca. 7km entfernten Nachbarort gibt es einen netten Samstagsmarkt und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Huguette und Jean-Louis haben uns bei allen Fragen sehr freundlich weitergeholfen und uns auch den ein oder anderen fehlenden Gegenstand ausgeliehen. Sie wohnen im gleichen Gebäudekomplex, die Wohnbereiche sind aber ausreichend getrennt. Wir fühlten uns nie beobachtet und hatten auch nie das Gefühl, uns zurücknehmen zu müssen, obwohl unsere Söhne ziemlich laute Rabauken sind. Im Gegenteil haben wir die Möglichkeit gerne in Anspruch genommen, ins Gespräch zu kommen und etwas über die Gegend und die Gastgeber zu erfahren. Zum Baden ist das Flüsschen unterhalb von Saint-Martin ein bisschen zu klein, aber man kann gut ins benachbarte Vallée Francaise fahren. Dort gibt es mehrere Badestellen zum Schwimmen und Springen. Fazit: Super Urlaub in toller Umgebung und guter Unterkunft bei sehr liebenswürdigen Gastgebern.

Superbe endroit, havre de paix. Magnifique vue depuis la terrasse et la piscine.Studio bien entretenu, annexe sympathique. Terrasse agréable du matin au soir. Propriétaires très sympa et accueillante , qui connaissent bien la région. A visiter les marchés du St Jean Du Gard et Florac , la ville D' Anduze et sa bambouseraie. Belles balades au alentour. Pour nous qui venons de la ville, c'est le lieu idéal pour se ressourcer: calme, soleil, odeurs du "Sud", profusion de fleurs et de verdures, superbes ballades, petits marchés ..; tout nous appelle à y retourner chaque année. Petit bijou à faire partager.
