About this house rental
Located on the doorstep of the Kasbah in walking distance to the Medina, the center of the town, many cafes, shops, museums and restaurants. The house has two levels with a sunny roof terrace overlooking the heart of Tangier. I am an artist so there are many paintings dotted though out the house, some of the male form.
On the first level there are two double bedrooms and one twin room. Each bedroom has a private bathroom with shower. On the second level there is a kitchen, sitting and dining areas all opening out on to a secluded terrace perfect for an evening cocktail. On the third level there is bedroom which is not used by guests. On the top there is access to a quiet and sunny roof terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped and you are welcome to use it. In the living room and on the terraces there are a few seating areas where you can sit and eat or just have a drink and relax.
The house has great access, the front door is directly off the parking. There are steps up to the front door.
Idris is our house manager who will be in touch to plan your arrival and welcome you. Also, our house keeper Hassania can prepare breakfast for additional charge and cook delicious traditional Moroccan dishes.

This home is charming. It's a typical Moroccan house with multiple levels, ornate passage and little stairs that wind up to the rooftop terrace.
The house was not very clean. There were a couple small heaters in the house but we could never get the temperature over 62 degrees.
The house help, Aziz, was very intrusive. He walked-in multiple times without even knocking.
Getting to the house feels a little sketchy.
The neighbors were loud, even late at night. In other homes we have rented in Tanger, Marrakech and other cities, there was very little or no noise from outside.
We started a fire to try to heat the house. We opened two windows to create some air flow. Aziz came and opened two doors that we were never able to close. Aziz couldn't close them either. So for the last day and a half, we had two doors that stayed opened.
