About this villa rental
This waterfront villa in Playa El Tunco has 3 beautiful rooms, 2 with full kitchens. Each room has private bathroom, AC, surround sound stereo and premium bedding and linens. In the waterfront area we have an infinity pool and a spacious deck with hammocks and lounge furniture. Between the three rooms, there are a total of 7 beds (4 full-sized beds and 2 twin beds, and 1 queen), 3 bathrooms, and 2 kitchens. For larger groups we do have extra beds that can be provided.
From this villa, you'll listen to the waves break in front of the oceanfront deck, and our infinity pool, and are just steps away from the waves. Its also just a short walk down the beach or the main street to all the vibrant food & beverage available in El Tunco! One of the best aspects of the Balancé property is that we are close enough to walk to all of the restaurants and bars in the area, but far enough away that any parties or loud music from bars will NEVER disturb a perfect night of rest. Unlike the other hotels in the area, from our property you hear the sound of waves crashing at night, not loud music from bars!!
It takes about 3-4 minutes to walk to anything in town. You can walk via the beach or the main street, which is well lit, secure, and safe to walk at night.
We have high speed wi-fi internet throughout the property.
Another unique aspect of our property is the world-class yoga studio on its premises. We have classes available at great prices including, drop-in, 3-day and week passes.

The deck area has an infinity pool and additional relaxing areas including a comfortable sofa and chairs, a coffee table, and places to swing in hammocks and just relax.

We can't wait to come back for another stay! The apartment is located right on the edge of the charming little town of El Tunco and less then a minute walk from the awesome surf wave La Bocana! There are also two other great waves to choose from minutes walking away. From the first communications with Adrian (owner) he was always very easy to deal with and accommodated any request we had. We stayed in each of the apartments and they were both very comfortable, clean and modern. You have all the furnishings you would find in a new apartment, tv, stereo & AC. Fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook or you can hire a private chef to come cook for you, he goes by the nickname "The Chef". Adrian can connect you with him and he cooks some really amazing meals! (Recommended). There are also tonnes of great restaurants minutes walk away and the welcome book has them all listed out. The beds are comfortable and the configurations work if you are some surf buddies, solo traveller or couple. Need surf lessons, ask Adrian to connect you with Bamba! He had my wife going from 1-2ft waves to carving 5-6ft waves in a week! He taught her how to read the ocean and position herself so she could pop right up and rip! The nicest guy in El Tunco! (Recommended). In need of a driver? that also takes surf photos...Adrian can connect you with that too, he goes by the nickname Gorilla and knows all the secret surf spots and will take great photos of you ripping, (Recommended). There is also a beautiful yoga studio on the property with daily classes. This was our first time to El Salvador and we both fell in love with it! The local people are so friendly and we didn't feel in danger once! Don't believe what the western media tells you about El Salvador! Like anywhere, be a smart traveller and you will have the time of your life her! Nothing but good vibes and endless waves!

It's a very good location - quiet and peaceful with lots of open space yet you can walk up the street a couple of hundred yards and you're in the middle of the happening scene. You can walk down the street or use the backyard as a way to the beach and either way end on the cute little main street. It never rained when i was there but if it had then the huge porch area would have been utilize for just more then an escape from the sun. bring movies or your netflix account. I never felt my safety was compromised. The place was clean. The caretaker was available and helped very quickly when I lost the key. All in all a great experience. You have to see the beach caves which are just ten minutes away and do the hike to the waterfall. If you can't surf yet - the instructors will have you going in no time.

My pal and I stayed here in the beginning of November 2015. The suite was as advertised, no surprises, very clean and modern. The suite is about a 2 minute walk to the surf and a 5 minute walk to the center of town. Being a few minutes away from the center of town turned out to be a really great idea, on the weekends the bars get pretty loud, however Balance suite was very quiet and peaceful. The owner Adrian was a great host, setting us up with an awesome surf guide, Pedro the savage! I didn't get a chance to do any Yoga but there was daily classes that looked well put on. All in all it was a really relaxing and safe experience, would recommend it to anybody.

I stayed in the Balance apartments for 8 days in December. Everything there was outstanding- from the cleanliness to the location to owner who went above and beyond to help me while I was in El Tunco. I spent time surfing and also went to the yoga studio on the property. The waves were great and I'd recommend this place to any group of people looking to take advantage of this great location as there's an awesome break a block away. Yoga classes were great and the teachers made sure to tailor the classes to the students present. The owner, Adrian, made sure to get me the exact board I was looking for, and took extra time out of his schedule to show me some of the nicer surf spots here.
