    The place is quiet and got good view. The infinity pool is cold to dip though its hot season and humid in tagaytay. We booked 1 night last Oct 3, 2025 to Oct 4, 2026 the room is quiet dark and the smell of room quiet old already. But we comfortably sleep. The breakfast buffet is Filipino foods. We have some feedbacks in our stay that accommodated and answered by hotel.manager Mr. William. That he take it positively to better services to customers. I commended to Ms. Celine the receptionist she accommodated our request and she is knowledgeable on her work. I recommend Escala for a quick getaway staycation from.hectic manila

    Unfortunately, this stay did not feel as premium as our previous experience at Escala. What made it more disappointing was that we were not informed about the ongoing renovation when we made our booking. We only found out at the check-in counter, when we were already there. At that point, what choice did we really have but to proceed with our stay? Renovation work that could significantly affect the guest experience should be clearly disclosed before booking, not only upon arrival. The pool area was particularly disappointing. Dust and dirt from the ongoing construction had accumulated in the water, making it unpleasant and raising concerns about cleanliness. The amount of dust was also bad enough to trigger my allergies. It was frustrating to pay for a hotel stay only to encounter these conditions, especially when the renovation had not been disclosed beforehand. The breakfast buffet was another letdown, with limited food options. Honestly, we found the plated breakfast during our previous stay much more satisfying than the buffet offered this time. Overall, we expected the same premium feel, quality, and comfort we had experienced during our previous visit, but this stay fell short of those expectations. Greater transparency about ongoing renovations, better pool maintenance, and improvements to the breakfast selection are needed. The lack of advance disclosure was especially disappointing because it prevented us from making an informed decision before arriving.
