Good location, 10 min walk from the train station and everything you need is nearby (but best bars etc are 3 km away, so fyi)
Breakfast (but would be nicer if it was a boiled egg or two instead of a desert)
Many young locals stay here, and I really enjoyed getting to know them
The interior needs a bit of care - to clean a bit more here and there. Like it is not dirty for the main stuff - the bed and floors are clean. But it could use a deep clean tbh

Very nice staff
Lot of locals, not a very social hostel

The staff was lovely and helped us book a tour, rent a scooter and gave us tips for food and activities. The written guide was also really helpful. This was our first stop in Indonesia and we had a lovely experience. We ended up extending our stay by one night, which was no problem. Breakfast every morning and cuddles from the cat was amazing. Thank you!
The room that we went into for the last night had no warm water, sink or curtains. So we woke up a bit restless.

Fantastic staff. I can’t thank Laura enough. I was extremely ill. I would have been grateful just for them to bring bottled water to my door. Instead, staff informed Laura of my situation and she prepared homemade vegetable soup, rice, eggs, fruit and tea. I nearly cried receiving such unexpected kindness. Thank you, I will always recommend your establishment.
Everything was fine except for the howling cat.
